Jan went well above my expectations when I had travel/ flight issues. She saved my trip from disaster and took away all of my stress! My daughter and I will always be thankful for her going out of her way to help out. Nola was also a life saver! Thanks to the Expedia team 😊✈️🛳🌴

This was our first time using a travel agent, and it was definitely a big stress reliever. It saved a lot of the frustration leading up to our trip in comparing hotels, flights, dates etc. Also during our trip there were some flight delays resulting in missed connections, Trina Brown was able to help by providing us options to make sure we still got to our destination and also get us compensation from the airline for the missed connection. I would highly recommend Trina to anyone looking to book their next travel.

Very professional and experienced agents. They offered the most reasonable package and a better flight compared to my online search. Very caring about my visa too. I was expecting more flexibale search than one fixed date though. Overall, very great experience.

I booked a flight during Covid and had difficulty booking, to the point where I lost out on a couple hundred dollars because vacancy filled up. I got zero help attempting to book a Covid test at the airport, and was not made aware that I needed to so far in advance to acquire a result in time for my flight. Costed needless money for a worse experience than booking without a travel agent. They would not even send me an email with my ticket details so I could choose my seats, so I was stuck with the default option. I expect some level of value by spending hours and several trips to their office downtown, not to be treated like dollar bills without any form of follow-up. If you asked me if I recommend Uniglobe, I would recommend you stick a fork into a electrical socket before booking through them, because at least you can bring that story up at your friends next birthday and get some laughs. Just anyone can post these reviews, but know that this is a genuine review by a genuine ex-customer.

Top Travel Agent Alternatives in Prince George

A travel agency is a private retailer or public service that provides travel and tourism-related services to the general public on behalf of accommodation or travel suppliers to offer different kinds of travelling packages for each destination. Travel agencies can provide outdoor recreation, arranging logistics for luggage and medical items delivery for travellers upon request, public transport timetables, car rentals, and bureau de change services. Travel agencies can also serve as general sales agents for airlines that do not have offices in a specific region. A travel agency's main function is to act as an agent, selling travel products and services on behalf of a supplier. They are also called Travel Advisors. They do not keep inventory in-hand unless they have pre-booked hotel rooms or cabins on a cruise ship for a group travel event such as a wedding, honeymoon, or other group event.

The Biggest Travel Agent in Canada

Prince George, B.C. is a vibrant city with a booming tourism industry. If you’re planning a trip to this Canadian gem, you may be wondering how to go about booking your accommodations, flights, and activities. While traditional travel agents are a popular option, there are also fantastic alternatives that can save you time and money. Here are the top three alternatives:

  • Online travel agencies (OTAs): Online travel agencies are websites that allow you to book every aspect of your trip in one place. They offer a wide range of options, from flights and accommodations to car rentals and tours. Some popular OTAs include Expedia, Booking.com, and Travelocity. These platforms often have user-friendly interfaces, making it easy to search and compare prices. In addition, many OTAs offer exclusive deals and discounts.
  • Travel comparison websites: Travel comparison websites aggregate information from various sources to provide you with a comprehensive view of available options. These platforms, such as Kayak, Skyscanner, and TripAdvisor, allow you to search for flights, hotels, and activities simultaneously, making it easy to find the best deals. You can also read reviews and ratings from other travelers to get a better sense of the quality and value of different providers.
  • Direct bookings: Another alternative to consider is booking directly with providers. Many hotels, airlines, and tour operators have their own websites and booking systems. By booking directly, you can often find exclusive deals and packages that may not be available through other channels. Additionally, you can communicate directly with the provider to ask questions or make special requests.

Each of these alternatives has its own advantages, so it’s important to evaluate your specific needs and preferences. Consider factors such as cost, convenience, and flexibility when choosing the best option for your trip to Prince George. Whatever you decide, rest assured that there are plenty of options available to help you plan a memorable and hassle-free adventure.
