What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Place is nice and clean , lots of products to choose from. I had certain questions and an employee gladly answered, she was very nice about it and we engaged in a nice conversation regarding the pet topic. The cashier was nice and helpful. All in all it was a good experience, I will definitely be going back

  2. Update:

PetSmart grooming mgr contacted me and spoke about the bad service we received that day. I brought Luna in today to get groomed by Kimberly. She was awesome! Definitely made us happy. Thank you again for everything you did to fix our experience! Will continue to book with her!!

I’m so upset at their grooming dept.. took our golden doodle to get groomed last week and when I picked her up both ears were completely shaved off, her sanitary areas are shaved horrible not even aligned. Her face is cut so uneven. This is the second time I bring her to this location and I’m so unhappy. We traditionally keep her hair longer than most doodles and I stressed that to the groomer when I dropped her off and I pick her up she is shaved. Never taking her to this location. The groomer definitely did what she wanted to my puppy and I’m so upset! She looks so different!

  3. Good selection of tropical fish, but avoid Gwen, unless you want to be laughed at for asking her to get you fish 5 minutes before closing time! She called the manager and said that I expected to be able to buy fish before they closed! How unreasonable for a customer to expect service when the store was Open?!!! The Manager came and helped me while Gwen watched her and laughed as she looked at the time!
    Who is in charge here?
I bought an aquarium heater and fish and left.
I have spent about $300 in the past week at this store, but not any more.

  4. Absolutely LOVE this store and the groomers are all wonderful! They had their grooming academy for students learning how to groom the dogs in today and their instructor was excellent! 10 across the board for customer service and care of the animals! Along with their regular staff always being great, the students were eager to learn and do the job well! Very professional! I wish nothing but the best for them all! Dani and I thank you! She looks great! And her bows were a precious touch ????!

  5. My Pet convenience store!
The staff is amazing here! I had to go yesterday get my GSD some boots for the incoming summer heat and an associate helped me getting the size tested. Very difficult to do it first hand by yourself!

Always happy to give a smooch to the pups which helps tremendously with social interaction!!

The store is generally well cleaned and organized. My cat enjoys a very popular treat so they don’t always have it in stock. Most of the time there is only one register open, but they will call for help if 3 or more people are in line. Just be careful in the parking lot because it is a high traffic area.

Did not have a good experience here. Dry greeting. My baby shook like never before. Was told her eyes were dry, I know. She just went to the Duncanville store and the customer service was awesome. They calmed her down and made her feel good, Blank trip

I wish they would get better training in the grooming area! I have been here twice and my dog is still not groomed because they don’t know how to read vaccination records! I won’t be returning and wasting my time here any more!!

The procedure is super simple. When you enter the building, the acceptance will ask you to write down some information on a book in front of the door. Then you can go to shelter and find the cats and dogs you want to adopt. If you like to adopt one or you have some questions, you can go to desk to talk to one lady. The lady will answer your question and will let you take a visit with your preferred cat or dog in a single room. Once you make your decision to adopt a cat or dog , they will start your adoption process. I show my driver license and provide some personal information and pay 80$. The people there are really friendly and nice. My English is not fluent and not familiar with vaccines names stuff, so I ask the lady several times. The lady is very patient to answer my question until I totally understand. Overall, people there are friendly and nice. You definitely can find your companion in such amazing place.

I have been to many animal shelters before since I have been a volunteer and foster for years before I moved to the area. Had the worst experience here, when I walked in to view the kittens a woman at the front desk demanded that I email her a copy of my lease before I could even see any kittens. When I asked if I could at least view the available animals she said not until she looked at my lease to make sure I could have a pet. I understand this further into the process but not as soon as I walk in the door before I even know if there is an animal that I want to adopt. I had left work a few minutes early in order to make it in time to have about 45 minutes before they close. This process took up so much time since she wasn’t even able to find the email I sent (was in her spam…). When she eventually looked over my lease it was immediately accepted since pets are allowed at my complex. Then I was allowed to view the cats but they said to hurry since they close soon. Only had time to see one kitten which they had the nerve to try to pressure me into getting after the whole ordeal. Would not go back

The front desk ladies are always Super Rude. When you walk in they’ll be at least three or four of them just staring at their computers doing who knows what and they won’t look up. That front desk needs to be ripped out and as people walk into the facility, I’m not expecting a Walmart greeting, but they should be asking questions to assist and direct, but they would prefer that people that walk in be filtered down into frustration and marched out. I’ve run into volunteers that work there and they’re always super nice but the main staff typically that huddles at the front desk really could care less which is sad. These beautiful creatures are at their mercy which is scary. Time to turn over the front staff and get some fresh folks in there that really care.

Found a beautiful stray that either has an owner or could find a great home easily and I was treated horribly. No wonder people don’t stop to help animals anymore; the people that are supposed to be there for the animals treat you like you’re a criminal for helping them. Shame on the front office person. They don’t care about animals for a fact. They want out of work. Lazy. Sad. Please hire people that actually care about animals.

Parvo infection and zero interest in doing anything about it. We adopted a 9 week old German shepherd one week ago and the very next day took him to his vet check. He was already exhibiting signs of illness with vomiting and diarrhea and had to be admitted to MedVet. He tested positive for Parvo and Giarrdia. I went back to Plano Animal services the next day to inform them and ask for help with his vet bills which were already $3300 after 24 hours. They had zero interest in either helping or addressing the fact that they have a parvo outbreak at their shelter. Our puppy was one of 5 in a litter and it’s certain that the remaining puppy and the 3 that were already adopted have parvo. I was told dogs are only tested for parvo after they are symptomatic because it’s too expensive to test all dogs. That’s ludicrous. That whole shelter is contaminated. Parvo can survive for a year and that’s assuming the best of sanitary conditions. Anyone walking through this shelter can see dogs sitting in pools of diarrhea. Adopt from here at your own risk.
