  1. Loved everything about this place. The french lady was so cute she told my husband the salad was big enough and he didn’t need to order more food. My panini with prosciutto and mozzarella was lovely and the desert was out of this world. I could have had 3 of them! Highly recommended. It’s busy so go there early.

  2. We had a lovely lunch here. The outside dining was full so, we ate inside. Our server Daniel (actually, from Romania – a great guy) was perfectly attentive. I love it when I can catch eye-contact with the server and they are looking for it (vs ignoring the diners). The french beer was tasty and we had croissant sandwiches (salmon for me) and the tomato with goat cheese soup…apricot flan for dessert. The food was excellent. They also had panini (Italian?) and if it’s anything like we had, I’m sure it’s good stuff. Also, check-out the pasteries and desserts when you walk in (see the pics) pretty awesome!

  3. Had brunch here Friday morning with several friends. Staff greeted us inside quickly and were very friendly when telling us we’d probably fit better outside. We attempted to rearrange some tables together but staff willingly intervened to help when we just weren’t figuring it out. I ordered a coffee, smoked salmon croissant with a garden salad, they were all delicious. The coffee was one of the better black coffees I’ve ever had, and the sandwich had the perfect amount of meat on it too. I shared an almond croissant with another girl and it was so good that she ended up buying several more to eat the rest of the weekend. Overall, great place for a nice shaded outdoor breakfast with friendly staff.

  4. I absolutely love this place it has a nice seating area outside and the ambiance beautiful and peaceful. I come here very often for their almond croissant and literally anything you try here you will love. My go to breakfast is the “French Breakfast” because they give you a crunch croissant with your breakfast and is super filling overall. If you want a GOOD place to eat, this is the spot!

  5. nice food presentation and tasty😋! you can dine in outdoor under the trees. they got pretty decoration as well. my favorite are puffy double cappuccino and crepes. we are traveling and so tired so that would be a good choice for brunch. but street parking is not free😂.

    Went here today while visiting sister-in-law for her birthday and we were not disappointed. Our waiter was wonderful, nice and informative about the meals and gave suggestions. I had the blackberry drink for a cocktail it was good. For appetizer, if you like crab cakes you have to try them. They are the best I ever ate and for main meal I had shrimp linguini. Delicious, I highly recommend. Thank you for an amazing experience and making my sister’s birthday wonderful. We will be back.

    What a great meal! I’ve been coming here for many years. My dad actually used to work here back in the 80’s, and they even used to have a picture he was in by the entrance. The duck was very tender and the sauce was lovely. Also best French onion soup in the world. My wife got the veal shank and it was fall off the bone tender. Everything was very nice. If they still have the picture with my dad I would like a copy please….

    Amazing food and one of the best service we’ve had. Our server George was so attentive and gave us an exceptional dining experience. The presentation on the caviar was amazing. The atmosphere felt like we were back in a classic restaurant in Paris. It has that European environment. We loved it.

    European atmosphere. Very good and unusual French union soup, served in an union bowl. I don’t recommend lobster soup. It was not good like in other restaurants. Actually had a strange taste. Good service. I wish them be a little bit happier when people come to lunch or dinner. Atmosphere could be more welcoming!

    Amidst a change over so we decided to be gracious with our rating. New owner Feb 1, 2022. We requested outdoor seating, meaning the porch and they gave us the sidewalk. We were there an hour and 45 min and 3 tables on the porch stayed empty the whole time! First waiter gave us bread and never returned. 20 min later we flagged the waiter beside us and he went and got a 3rd waiter to help us out. She was very apologetic and gave us extra bread. We went for the specific salad listed here on Open table to find that their menu had changed and it was not updated here. So we just ordered these 2 items pictured below. These items were spectacular and very tasty. We were disappointed but understand changeovers can be a challenge.

    This is our favorite restaurant in Sarasota! The decor is beautiful and the vibe is so cozy! We love the owner Oli and his gorgeous and talented wife Angela, who is the best chef! They make everyone feel welcome and special! The homemade breads were so good! And the asparagus and broccoli soup tasted divine! The best tasting filet wrapped in puff pastry and a wonderful Halibut dinner after delicious Escargot and mussels! The desserts were so great-crème brûlée, chocolate moose and the best homemade salt ice cream! We will come back here every single time we come to town.❤️

    Just a wonderful experience. The waiter Olivier added so much to my birthday dinner. The bread was delicious 😋. I didn’t care for the vegetable soup. The goat cheese salad was sublime. Really yummy. The filet in pastry with blue cheese was not to my liking. The meat was very well cooked, and a perfect cut and temperature, but blue cheese did not blend well. I would order with no blue cheese, if I return. My wife loved her whine. Trio dessert with mousse, sherbet, pastry was not good enough to eat. It was very good but not worth calories.i didn’t care for the Latay.

    Amazing food and service! The goat cheese salad was a perfect start and the scallops are the best I’ve had anywhere in the world. The profiteroles stuffed with salted caramel ice cream, blood orange sorbet and lava cake are all things to come back for. Antoine makes you feel like family.

    We were greeted by one of the owners with a friendly smile. The service and food are excellent. A smaller restaurant in a strip mall with a wonderful menu and nightly specials. The escargot and mussels were cooked perfectly. The seafood dishes were fantastic and recommendations for a wine choice were made with ease. A high recommendation indeed

    WOW! That captures it but doesn’t all at the same time. We had an incredible dinner here. It is small and quaint, which made an intimate dinner wonderful. Olivier was friendly and personable, helped make great recommendations throughout the course of our dinner – for both food and wine. I highly recommend the mussels – there are so many options. But everything on the menu was creative and fresh & had a homemade feel to it. From a dessert perspective – just go for the Trio! We loved it so much and made plans to return shortly after for another great experience.
