a week agoI’m a fan of Blue Beacons across the states and I’m very appreciative of their hard work with keeping our trucks clean on a daily basis. I was happy with my trailer wash but the way I was handled by John was unacceptable.With that being said, I ran into a slight issue here due to my trailer reeking of ammonia and some maggots. I didn’t want to bring it in this condition but I had no choice; ????????♀️I needed a clean trailer.
Before arriving, I called and spoke with John and let him know the condition. We agreed that if it was too bad, I’d let the trailer air out and come back. This was done for 2 hours at another location and I came back. John was a little apprehensive when it came to washing my trailer, which hey I get it; it was gross. But as a trucker, trailers are the money maker. So it had to be clean. Heck, if I had the proper equipment, I would’ve done it. And both his manager and I said if the trailer is too strong to clean out, get out. When I came back, his manager and I both smelled the trailer and the ammonia smell was gone, it just smelled horrible from the raw products that had been in it. But John just seemed to give me a hassle about the trailer, even though he didn’t even get inside and clean it.
Even with the information being put in for my receipt, he gave me a hard time. Usually at Blue Beacon, I just put EMPTY RUN for a the PO when I am transferring an empty from one plant to another but he insisted that the system wouldn’t allow it, only for him to get impatient with me waiting on dispatch to answer and tell me it was allowed.
All in all, I can tell he’s a good leader but everyone can use a tune up to be a better leader. I’m aware my trailer was a nasty job but I’ve seen other Blue Beacons clean nastier jobs with no hesitation. Extra fees if necessary (frozen blood, rotten potatoes with maggots, etc.) but no hassle.
2 years agoVery popular place to get a truck cleaned. The line is always long but wait is worth it. We waited almost 2 hours to get cleaned. No way out of the line once you are in. We had the classic wash in truck and trailer, motor cleaned and the citrus shine put on. Very friendly, professional staff only thing they didn’t offer like most other Blue Beacons was a veterans discount. All in all we are pretty happy with it. $84 This place was conveniently located between a TA Truck Stop and a Pilot.a month agoJust had my truck and trailer washed here the color is white so you can see all the dirt.They were courteous and professional.They did a really good job.a week agoThe food was good. Little costly, but what isn’t nowadays? Took a little time to get my food but I will go back here.11 months agoThey got it clean! Running flatbed can get to be nasty at times but they got it cleaned up pretty good. The line was around the building probably about 12 deep and I was out in less than 2 hours so not bad!

Now she will be very happy ???? and clean!!!3 months agoI have the buddy’s best monthly wash package. I pay 34.99 per month and can wash my truck as many times as I want. Literally, 10 times a day if I wanted! I love this place. Vacuums are great and the wash is first rate. Staff is more attentive at the Northport location than at the McFarland Tuscaloosa location, but both are excellent. Highly recommend.4 months agoUpdate: Marc-1 support has still not responded. Be warned about their company culture.Last Sunday I used this service and discovered as I exited the tunnel that my car’s plastic rocker panel had been ripped/knocked off while in the wash. The response from Marc-1’s claims team has been to repeatedly tell me that my car is “over 5 years old” and that that fact alone means that they won’t take any responsibility for the damage. Sad way to treat a regular customer for the last 4 years.
Please know that their signage specifically warns us all that cars “over 5 years old” enter at their own risk, so please be careful if you do choose to use this service and know what to expect if you attempt to file a claim with them.
Their staff onsite was professional and courteous about this, but I cannot say the same for the claims team.

I used to wash my truck by hand but now I live in an apartment and do not have access to a hose. Decided to try out overflow when the Northport location opened up and I now go 3 to 4 times a week! I have the ceramic monthly package and it is totally worth it. Besides the fantastic wash I get every time the staff is so friendly. The dryers in the wash do about a 90% job, but it is a great feeling to have a nice and clean microfiber every time I go to do that last 10%.
Major shoutout to Laef (I’m assuming the spelling) for going out of his way to provide personal customer service. I take pride in my truck and so to have someone there who compliments it and takes the time (when there was no one else lined up) to come and talk about it is just great service.
My pickup was caked with pollen. They allowed me to go through until it was sparkling clean! Fast, convenient and courteous!
This car wash is a wonderful place to go for a quality wash and clean. One worker who’s especially great is Colin Birmingham! He’s just the greatest hardworking man ever. Highly recommend this place!
Very convenient for single mothers or women in general. It’s a all in one independent car wash. They have great vacuums with strong suction. If you pay $25 you can start a membership and wash at any location for up to 30 days.
Since Take 5 has taken over this car wash it has been plagued with problems and issues. I have two $39.00 memberships and neither of them have worked the entire time I’ve had them. The membership scanners have never worked and they always have to override the system to get you in taking extra time. Only one lane is ever working. Today I went and the scanner and the card reader were both broken. They were having to take peoples credit card back and forth inside to do the wash. After i finally got in the wash it broke down with me inside. Half of the vacuums were down for a month waiting on corporate to fix them. I hope they get their act together but I am not hopeful.
