a year agoI agree with the other reviewers, I almost don’t want to let the secret out. I stayed two nights over the Memorial Day holiday and my experience was perfect. Greg, the Innkeeper/ owner was fantastic; responsive and kind. The house is beautifully appointed with antiques and the room was spacious and bed & linens were comfortable. I loved the view of the river and railroad trestle. The home has two rooms and while the other room was occupied for one of the nights, I didn’t hear a thing. The area is quiet in the evenings, the room was super quiet, and the home has off-street, well lit parking. Greg provided coffee in the morning (with a selection of creamer options) and the kitchen has a full size refrigerator for guest use as well as utensils and dishes for guests. I used the fridge for bottle water and take-out leftovers and had plenty of room. The outdoor area is lovely and oasis like. I loved it here and will definitely book again.a year agoMy daughter and I stayed here for two nights. We took both rooms and had the house to ourselves. What an incredible experience! The host was fantastic! The house was really amazing! Decorated with nautical antiques which were incredibly interesting. The lighting was perfect. A really unique experience. You also got a decent view of the river and huge binoculars to look at the river’s wildlife. Beds were comfortable and the blackout curtains truly black out the light. We had no problems sleeping in late. If we ever get back to Redding we will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it!10 months agoMy stay was so wonderful at Demonds. I was staying for a work trip. I had a wonderful place to set up for work, wifi was great. I got so much more than expected. House was so well designed. Owner was so hospitable and professional. Immaculate inside and out. So many interesting things and little details to enjoy. A great enclosed outdoor area that is very welcoming. Owners are friendly and a pleasure to talk with. Such a great time and experience. Will most definitely return!2 years agoThis was one of our best bnb’s we have stayed in! What an absolute hidden gem. As soon as you entered the garden, you feel a very positive homely energy which you will find echoed throughout the entire house. My partner and I were doing a west coast road trip (we are from the U.K.) and we very last minute called Greg (the host) who was super helpful and immediately confirmed availability.The garden is very well kept, with bamboo and even a Tibetan prayer wheel which adds to the welcoming space. From quirky art pieces to a sound healing space, this place is truly magical. There is nothing that Greg has not thought about – organic natural products, good quality linen and cosy little touches throughout.
Most importantly, Greg is super friendly and an interesting person who you will very much enjoy getting to know!
Highly recommend it if you are passing by! We immediately told all our friends in case they too are passing by and need a place to stay.

a month agoThe house was super comfortable. Very modern touch really clean and spacious. Simple and free of clutter yet inviting and accommodating. For both summer and winter this house provides three awesome mini splits so every corner of the house is instantly cooled or heated to perfection. And a very nice modern touch of motion sensor lighting throughout the house. The house was not far from town but just outside enough for comfort. And it’s location from the street is quiet and private. The Host that does the most!a week agoThe stay at Redding Vacation Rental was great! The pool area was so much fun and the house had everything we needed. We felt relaxed and at home! We would stay again!3 months agoMy stay was excellent! Clean, comfortable and current in design! In a quiet safe neighborhood. My only problem the weather was to cold to enjoy the pool! A beautiful pool area and I may have come to stay in summer, so I can enjoy swimming! Highly recommend!4 months agoThis place was perfect! Check-in and communication were easy. Parking and private entrance were very convenient. The space itself is so wonderful, tastefully decorated and plenty of space to spread out. The beds were so comfortable, gorgeous bathroom, well-equipped kitchen with all the basics and pristinely clean throughout. Would definitely stay here again!

We only had one brief night to stay in Redding, but after seeing the Hope Inn we wish we had more time. It was such a beautiful place. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated.
We never met our hosts because we arrived late, but communication before and after our stay was friendly, helpful and complete.
If we’re ever in the area again we will definitely be back.
What a beautiful location! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the beautiful safari room decked out with everything we needed. The common living room was homey and inviting, the large kitchen had I am sure everything you could need, and the grounds are well manicured and spacious. We ate our breakfast on the deck and watched a deer roam through the yard. Thank you for the experience of tranquility after driving all day! I highly recommend Hope Inn and will happily stay again whenever passing through Redding.
The owner is nice and responsive. The room is clean and well set. We saw a lot of hummingbirds in the yard while having breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to coming back again 🙂
We stayed in the Royal Shasta room for one night. Denise greeted us and was super friendly and helpful. We had both dinner and breakfast at places she recommended and they were great! The bathroom is the real winner in the Royal Shasta room – such a stunning room!.
We visited Lasson National Park for two days and found Hope Inn in Redding as we are on the way. No regrets at all, it’s small but beautiful and quiet!
The owners are super friendly and welcoming, most of the guests here are very respectful in the common area.
No breakfast but there’s free parking on site.
