What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I used to buy my fish at Petco and they would ALWAYS die. Started coming here and every fish I’ve bought since is still alive and thriving months after. Love this place 💜

  2. I have come here very often for fur baby supplies and always have a good experience! My recent trip, we needed some floating harnesses for a few of our pups, and found some online that they said was in stock at the store. So we go and can’t find them when we looked. However, Miss Melody went out of our way to help us find the sizes we need and even priced matched them to the online prices! Excellent service!

  3. I’ve never felt so welcomed in a place I’ve never been before, I normally shop at PetSmart but chose to try out their grooming today. I took my baby to the groomer after grooming her myself for years. The groomer was very good. Trey kept me in the loop and made me feel safe leaving her with him and let me know I could even watch through the window. Knowing how she refuses to let me cut certain areas at home, I was extremely impressed with the finished product. Chris called me to let me know she was ready. When I got there I was given my bill, payed, and met with my baby. I am overall extremely satisfied with the employees of the entire store. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Give them a raise!

  4. Ok so the female employee that works with the fish and aquariums was atrocious. Absolutely was one of the worst experiences with an employee in the retail industry that I have ever come across. She pretty much was denying selling my family a couple of .20 cent goldfish because we didn’t have our tank setup???? She had to call the manager and asked her to “Come deal with these customers” like wow over some goldfish. Anyways she said they wouldn’t live longer than a day or die immediately….. well it has been a week and they are still alive. Just wanted to put that out there, love this place but could definitely do without the bad attitude fish girl!!! Do not recommend speaking with her about anything if you see her in there go ahead and request the manager.

  5. This was the first time we took our fur baby to get his nails trimmed here. I was extremely impressed by the love and affection the groomer gave to our baby. I just can’t say as much for the person who checked us in. She was quite overwhelmed.

I took back my 1 star review because of the general manager only because I went back in again after 4 months and the assistant manager treated me with the utmost respect and was very helpful. The other employees were extremely helpful as well as always.

Clean store with a nice selection for your pet. Staff is helpful, but should wait until the customer is done. Sometimes, we need a bit longer to think of questions, even though we have questions in our mind when we get there. It smells like a pet store, and I’ve missed that. Nice. But one more thing, some people may want bags to carry bought items

Store sold a fish (pleso-common 2) that was supposed to be none aggressive. This fish ate 2 and damaged 5 others. When we tried to return this fish eater, we were told it was too late.

I don’t have any pets. I started potty training my toddler this week and went to buy puppy pads to cover my carpets. I was pleased with their selection and the fact that their website was accurate on pricing and stock. I was planning to order from Amazon but I needed them sonner than a thought so I was very glad I could find them locally for a decent price. I got 100 small ones for $20 and covered plenty of carpet 🤣

Very helpful staff. I was there to buy a play pin for my puppies, and the associate gave me an online price match which saved me over $25. She was also very knowledgeable on all of the products we had questions about, from recommending the best puppy foods to the most appropriate chew toys.

This place loves animals. Even though they are short staffed they keep a good attitude. Keep up the good work. They have helped my little family for years.

I could write an essay about this place and it still wouldn’t do it justice. It has pros and cons but the pros greatly outnumber the cons. The staff here really care about you and your animal and prove it every day. Me and my fiancé adopted a dog from here (the first picture), the very first dog we’d own together so we were very nervous. The dog we first adopted has a lot of energy and would playful bite all the time to where it left me with bruises so we emailed and asked them if we could bring the dog back. They kindly informed us that we could exchange him for a calmer dog but we couldn’t just return him as they didn’t have room. So we brought the dog back and they gave us another calmer dog (second picture). She is delightful! And the Paws center calls at 3 days, 3 weeks and 3 months so it was thoughtful of them to call and ask how she was doing compared to the last dog. They gave us a free harness and leash when we got her as the first dog we got chewed through his and we didn’t have one in good condition (which was also super sweet of them as I was prepared to just go buy another!). They gave us some great advice and had even potty trained her so she was such a sweet, delicate doggie. After a few days we used our free check up you get when you adopt a dog from Paws and she had developed a respiratory illness. They gave us medicine to give her and addressed all of our concerns and even trimmed her nails for us! The vet that we saw was an absolute sweetheart. She was so kind and listened to every concern and explained what some of the things we were noticing actually were. And she was so gentle with our dog. And when we used our free check up but still had a scare with our dog limping, the Paws center told us we could bring our dog back in and they’d look at her between appointments. They really go above and beyond especially for new nervous dog parents like us. The cons of this place is that they’re very busy. The lines are usually always busy and it’s hard to get anyone to pick up the phone. That’s it, that’s the only con. I once called 17 times just trying to get into the vet clinic to make an appointment and no one ever picked up the phone and it was as soon as they opened. But that’s it, they’re just super busy most of the time. I’d recommend not calling but emailing them instead, you will get a response faster.

I want to personally thank all of the staff at Paws for their help since arriving to Columbus. This place is constantly busy and I know everyone there is running on fumes. I’m so grateful that they are willing to help low income communities to take care of their pets. They have been amazing to my animals and to me. I appreciate that they are so personable and polite. I trust everyone there to take the absolute best care of my pets.

I took my lab in to be neutered, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was more nervous than my dog was but they assured me that he was in good hands and would be taken care of. It’s been two weeks and I’ve had no problems at all. I recommend this place to everyone they get 10 stars from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐❣️🐕‍🦺🐾

These folk are so freindly and helpful. Had our 16 month female lab spayed. The procedure for checking them in and out is streamlined and easy. Cost of the procedure is very reasonable. Payment can be made via a link sent to pay online. The facility also hosts the shelter with animals for adoption.
