- Reviews:Beautiful place and beautiful people. They made me feel so very welcome. From the front gate to the sales office to the main office they are all warm and friendly. I bought my home here and look forward to living here and meeting more of the occupants. The amenities are wonderful. Thank you Palm Gardens UPDATE: APPROXIMATELY 1 YEAR LATER: I saw very few of our Snow Birds this season. They are starting to dribble out one by one again. There is very little traffic within the complex. The activities board did a superb job. There was usually 4 or 5 activities planned each day. The office people helped us find a lot that would accommodate our motorhome, car trailer and car. When we arrived today, that lot was not available. We were given a different lot and told we could pay extra to store our trailer. We said we shouldn’t have to pay extra because of the arrangements that were previously made. The lady told us they don’t guarantee spots. We were treated very poorly, made to feel like liars and in the end, the owner came out screaming at us and told us to get off his property. Everyone says hello. people are always eager to help their neighbors. I haven’t seen such community since I was a child. There is always something going on and everyone is included! So much fun everyday! The property is kept clean and tidy, very inviting. I have dealt with different property management companies before, and never have I had staff so quick to answer my call or answer questions. He says they try to do some questionable things when a person. Is deceased and there are some real prizes in here but I like the place. They seem nice enough. I have recently relocated to the Mesa, Arizona. I was introduced to the property of Palmas Del Sol. From the security officer at the front gate, and the friendly staff in the office. I felt Welcome, as if I was family.
This community feels like a large family, but don’t get the wrong impression.
You will have some neighbors, and will not meet everyone living here.
I was impressed by people walking/driving by and waving, saying hello even though I was unknown to them. There is a statement around the park, that says “the only steps you’ll find here go down into the pool.”
A 55+ year old community. A place where you can do as much / or as little as you want. I have not felt more at home or as welcomed as I have since arriving here.
If you are coming to Phoenix, Arizona, looking for your retirement community, start your search here, I believe it will end here. You will not be disappointed.

We were just visiting our children’s piano teacher there. It seems to be a peaceful and good place to retire. The community looks nice and well-kept.
Resident there seems happy and content.
The guard is helpful and knowledgeable.
My parents and my grandparents live in this gated community. We check in at the front with the security guard and each interaction is always pleasant. The guard is always quick to come meet you and if you have any questions they are extremely helpful. It is a really great community.
