2 months agoI just walked in 10:01 pm in the store i was not even know its 10pm already. But thr doors were open and a young black due said it is late and we are closing. I said ok can i quick go and look for baby milk. This guys said ok then suddenly starting rude and cussing at me. After 4 steps hey its ok i am not going but be nice with me but this guy keep saying something even i walked out. 04 years i am coming to this kroger and did not feel good about the behavior like this2 months agoWas shopping today at the town and country kroger and remembered why I never shop there. There was ONE check out open. Ahead of me in line there was 12 shopping carts that were full of groceries- people that didn’t have carts were going to the self checkout. After 20 minutes of being in line I called customer service and a woman answered and I asked for another check out to be opened. She stated there was no one available to open a check lane- then added they are short staffed. Neither of these issues are my problem. And this issue is ALWAYS an issue there- for months and months. Today i was in line for 34 minutes to buy my groceries. Come on kroger. You are offering a service that you can not fulfill in a timely matter.in the last weekI’ve probably left my cart half full about seven times. When I go to a store and if they don’t have five items I’m looking for I got to go to a different store. I just leave my stuff there and keep moving they do a terrible job at keeping things stacked often a wasted tripa month agoThey are trying to mirror Walmart. One lane open and then self checkout. It takes over 30 minutes to get checked out. They never have their brand drinks stocked either. My elderly mother went to this store today to get her groceries. This is where she always gets her groceries and has done so for years. Today they wouldn’t except a check that her bank gave her after she had fraud on her bank account. They had to order her new checks so they gave her 5 checks that she can use until her checks come in the mail. My mom called me all upset about what happened. That she had to leave her groceries at the store. There is no kindness left in this world. Especially from the store manager named Samantha. She was rude on the phone with me. She has no respect for the elderly.
I enjoy shopping at Kroger. It’s just small enough to still give you the hometown feel, yet big enough to have variety. I particularly like the sale’s they offer regularly. Been shopping at Kroger for over 20 year’s. Thank you Kroger, here’s to another 20 year’s!????
The only Kroger in Mishawaka/South Bend area where employees are still courteous, and ask if customers need help. Then go the extra mile to achieve the customers goal. The store itself is also above average in display and cleanliness.
The store itself is fine and stocked, the employees are all friendly. But the bathroom is DISGUSTING. The smell of urine hits you before you even open the door. The floor had puddles of I don’t know what on it. Each stalls toilet paper holder was broken so the toilet paper was just sitting there and one of the rolls was wet!!!! The toilets were filthy and if I could’ve avoided using it, I would have. Even the sinks were stained and gross. I felt gross leaving it.
This is a pretty good Kroger. They are well stocked and it’s easy to shop there. Cashiers are friendly and efficient..
