What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. The hotel is located in a nice area with food and shopping nearby. The hotel staff were ALL exceptionally nice. The breakfast was actually decent. The hotel its self was kind of dirty. Stains on the walls, leaking sink, broken appliances in the bathrooms etc. I was excepting a little more for the money spent. The rooms need a fresh paint and some up keep. Not sure if I’ll return.

  2. Hotel was nice, a little loud with the airport being so close, but that’s to be expected. Pretty good breakfast area but the bagels were a bit dry, unfortunately. We did love that they had to-go containers for taking breakfast on the road! Service was great in some parts of the hotel and other parts less so. Overall a good stay though!

  3. The hotel is nice with a large pond out back used for water sports. Check-in was easy and welcoming. This vacation we stayed here 3 separate times. The rooms were a good size and the beds comfortable. Soaps were in wall attached pump bottles for shower and sink. Bed was firm and comfortable. Pillows were longer then I’m use to. One was soft and the other semi-firm. found some small areas that were not very clean, but over all it was good.

  4. It was more of a stay cay. I just needed to take a break. And this was the ideal place. Close to home just far enough to enjoy a different atmosphere, space ,time. Rejuvenate positive energy. Staff and room were great. Customer service on point and very welcoming and professional 👌

  5. We always stay at Holiday Inn’s. We are IHG platinum members. We came to stay at this Holiday Inn Express for the closeness to the soccer fields. No one told us this parking lot is a known as a window smash area. We seen cameras on the building thinking at least they work and would help police if trouble did arise. There is a sign on the pole that says security recording in progress right where we park. We come back out the next morning Our rear passenger window is broken on our 2022 ford escape along with 2 other cars(nothing was taken of course nothing was left in the car) when we went in We are told none of the cameras work. We are told it happens all the time at this hotel. When we arrived no one told us this a problem here. We were not warned to park close to the entrance or at least that cameras do not work. The police officer said it happens all the time at this hotel. There were no signs warning of smash and grab area, there was no security in the parking lot even though they have one on staff. This is a huge disappointment from a Holiday Inn Express. I feel violated by the smasher and by the hotel. The hotel knows there is a problem, the police know there is a problem and No one is doing anything to address it. Not even a warning to your “valuable members”. Now I have to put a new window in out of pocket. I have replace a window now and I feel so disappointed, violated, and worried for all future guests of this hotel. The hotel itself could use some cleaning. The chairs in the dining room area are all stained. We had a huge stain on our carpet in our room. The whole fourth floor smelled like weed and the cleaning crew was like yea I guess we need to spray instead of looking for the one smoking. The room was clean though. The staff was very friendly. The pool was not heated. The general manager did call and refunded us for the stay but as a holiday inn express this hotel needs a little more cleaning. The lake and porch outback was nice.

Upon arriving, we had already reserved and paid for our room. My room was wonderful! Clean, fully supplied, and comfortable. I had no trouble paying our deposit or retrieving it back. Initially, after our flight, it was getting late, so I looked up restaurants in the area. This hotel is centrally close to everything! As for the hotel staff, one lady in the front doing the early morning shift must live at the hotel because she came out to work the front desk twice in pajamas. The overnight front desk worker, Carlton, was exceptional! Not one time did I see or catch him asleep. He had breakfast out timely and tended to the phone calls from the guests. The cleaning staff were not prying or bugging. They knocked twice to see if we needed anything while making their rounds, helped where needed, and didn’t go into our room or stuff like some cleaning people do. I stayed for two nights from Saturday through Monday. When we went for the elevator, it reaked smoke! I was nervous at first because lots of reviews stated that people weren’t getting back their deposits, but it’s clear people were smoking in their rooms. Once inside my room, it was nice. They have TV that lets you sign into your own app profiles and watch what you’d like. My toddler was ill after our flight, so I had to hand wash the sheets and strip one of the beds, but it paid to leave the room sanitized and organized. I got my deposit back! I also left a thank you note and a $20 tip for the cleaning staff in advance. I hope they got it! Anyhow, breakfast is average, and there were not three hot items out the day we went for breakfast. The eggs weren’t presented as an option. The pool is inside the building, but we didn’t get to use it during our stay. Whoever the management is did me a justice! I left my contacts and facial creams/cleansers in my room for literally hours…checked out…called and picked up same day! They will forever be my best hotel stay in history! I will stay again when we visit the area.

💥If you are looking into booking this hotel just because it has a free airport shuttle swimming pool and full breakfast please do not make the mistake we made. No one came to pick us up from the airport for hours, pool was so dirty it has green fungus all around, breakfast area not clean at all, found huge roaches next morning, above all, creepy crowd coming in and out constantly. We fled from there the next morning but were still charged for 3 nights. Manager/ owner hardly visits the property and has no clue what’s going on. He clearly refused to refund the money for the nights we did not stay even though they were been given enough notice. PLEASE BEWARE.

DO NOT EVER STAY HERE!!! The workers stole everyone’s cash deposit and nobody communicated that with anyone. They stole my property out of my room WITHOUT me having any knowledge. I paid for the a whole week and when I tried to talk to the manager Jay he was very rude wasn’t trying to listen and got upset with me when I mentioned I was going to give a bad review and he tried to give me 30 mins to leave WITHOUT a refund for the rest of the week. The situation got so bad the police had to come to the hotel and they told us to do a civil lawsuit! The rooms have electrical issues so there was a flame by the air conditioner unit while my family was in the room and they tired to blame us. The whole hotel in infested with roaches and bed bugs they are rude and very mean. They refuse to clean the rooms and for breakfast they only serve waffles, stale cereal and spoiled milk. They forge people’s signatures on a form so they can keep your deposit with you knowing any of the rules. Whatever you do DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Great experience, I don’t think this hotel gets enough recognition. It may not be as fancy as a lot of the hotels that I have stayed in, it was close to Atlanta Georgia. We were able to see family, the price was great. The staff was super helpful, our room was cleaned daily. Thae pool and jacuzzi was fabulous. The hotel breakfast was a great variety of hot and cold, even though it was the same thing daily. I LOVED the coffee. Parking was great.

Personally this hotel is a perfect fit as far as simple goes. Location wise within its local area is great. It’s off in its own little space right off a highway exit but traffic is little to none turning down its road. From the front desk to the cleaning crew everyone makes it easy for you in wanting to check in and we’re actually very attentive if ever needed. I primarily dealt with front desk Breakfast is nothing major but is still very good, especially the waffle maker. Any concerns I had were taken care of literally at moments notice or not to long after. Guest pool and hot tub included during your stay here as well. Special thanks to Miss Priya, thank you and the staff again for making my party’s and my own stay a success!

As a Diamond Elite member with IHG this is one of the nicest Holiday Inn Express properties that I have stayed at recently. It is practically brand new, in a great location, has an open atrium that is very inviting, the rooms were fantastic, and even the beds and pillows were comfortable. The only reason reason they did not get 5 Stars, which would be an easy fix, is their breakfast. To many hotels, after COVID, are still cutting corners on their breakfast offerings which is something that everyone in the hotel has paid for with their room rate – yes every single guest staying. So, when breakfast is open it should be fully stocked up right until closing time. If that time is 10am a guest or family should be able to come at 9:50am and get what any other guest received for breakfast – it was prepaid. In this particular location the pancake machine was out of order, one of the 3 cereals was out, there was no oatmeal, two of the three juices were out, there was only one selection of yogurt, there was no white milk, and to top it off the coffee ran out and it took a bit to make another batch. Basically, if you wanted bread, biscuits and gravy, orange juice, or strawberry banana yogurt you were in luck… But, this does not meet the IHG Standard and I have been to hundreds of other properties (many smaller) that get this right every single day with pride. Again, this is something that guests have prepaid to receive and more importantly expect from the brand. So, when it is undelivered on such a great property it is a little more painful. Someone at IHG needs to assist with guidance and get this property up to the brand standard. It could easily be a 5 star property, for every visitor, with very little effort.

Despite having a reservation for months, this hotel decided to bump me three hours before my check-in time and told me the hotel was “sold out.” I was already on my way to the hotel on a 5-hour trip. They told me they tried to call me twice to be able to charge my card, but they only called once and didn’t leave a message. I assumed it was a scam call. Also, while they were free to cancel my reservation only 3 hours in advance, they did not allow the rest of my party (who was under a different name) to cancel for a full refund because it wasn’t requested within 48 hours before check-in time. Very interesting. I’m not sure who came up with this policy, or if someone just wasn’t doing their job correctly, but it was absolutely a terrible experience. We went down to another hotel down the road that took way better care of us.

After arriving at 3am, Atlanta airport shut down, the night manager Briseyda Cruz would not honor the AAA price quoted and reserved by IHG operator, claiming she needed to see email. The email had not gone through to me, so at 3am i proceeded to call and get another agent to speak live with Briseyda & confirm the rate they reserved me at, but she said she still “supposedly” could not adjust without written proof. The difference was less then $20. Call got disconnected before getting her an email and by 3:25am, i just asked for room key and informed her that it is pretty remarkable that as an IHG member and a live IHG operator on the phone, confirming my rate and reservation, she would not honor rate or “could not” adjust and consider we were exhausted and just had few hours left to sleep. I am super disappointed as i took a 20 minute Uber at that time, just because IHG phone agent was kind, patient and was able to get me rate i was looking to pay. Front Office Manager Briseyda Cruz was either wanting to be a B***h, is super incompetent or just useless in holding this title. The next morning, emails came through. I showed it to nice n simple front clerk and she was able to all of a sudden make change in system that night manager claimed she couldn’t do. Thanks for nothing Briseyda, they need to remove the management position from you. You made a very early morning stay at your property, incredibly unpleasant.

This hotel is top tier for the location. It’s loud during the day because all the rooms walls are paper thin and the room doors slam shut for each room – which is odd. Customer service is great and accommodating. The Breakfast included is a warm Breakfast with biscuits and gray and delicious sweets. The water was turned off for the entire property the morning of December 25, 2022. Sad to start Christmas day off like that but that is outside of the hotel’s power. Would I stay here again? Probably, if I’m in the area but I thinknth best option would be another hotel outside of this area. Closer to mid-town Atlanta.

Terrible noise. We were in 411. The first two nights people their were parties in several nearby rooms. Didn’t get bad till about 10pm then was awful until about 1 am. The noise could be heard from desk as it was loud. Then rest of days the two adjacent room doors were propped open with traffic in and out. What kind of business was this??

Next, the food was cold. The oatmeal was watered down like the gravy. If you are going to put out cold food please provide a microwave so we can heat our breakfast.

Last, this is the cheapest trash plasticware on the market. Do you really have to put out a fork that won’t cut an egg unless you work at it?

Holiday Inn should be better than motel 6.
