  1. I bought tiles that were supposed to be white 12@24… I got three types of white in soft tones… it should have been only one color… when I complained they didn’t want to do anything. I had to buy again and fix everything out of my own pocket. Don’t buy anything from them!

  2. Helpful and friendly associates! Helped me get some cut to length rope. Originally I came in for a milwaukee circular saw I had seen online. He pointed out it was online only and helped me find a better deal in the store. Ended up with a saw, 2 batteries and a hammer drill all for the same price as the saw was online. Thanks a lot!

  3. The fine associates at the customer service desk were super friendly and took care of my father in laws return kindly and quickly, even though he tried to make the conversation much longer. Very patient and understanding.

  4. One of the best experiences I’ve had with a Home Depot in a long time. I do business with them every single day of the week, across the US, and had the best experience with Josh ( manager ) and Sandra( pro- desk ). They were absolutely amazing, completely helpful, helped me figure out a solution to my problem and went above and beyond. I would highly highly recommend this location.

  5. Home Depot is not the only place with service issues, but it is frustrating when you go here and ask for help. The guy who I asked spent more time trying to find someone to help than it would have taken to grabbed the step ladder at the end of the aisle and pull the item I pointed to him from the shelf. Ultimately, I never got the product. This isn’t every time I go here. That visit was a 1 star, most are a 3-5.

    They have the products I need most of the time. I have had good and bad experiences with order pick up from the store. I don’t know if it’s company wide or just this location. Every time I have been in the store I have found it hard to find any employees to help me out. This isn’t uncommon for big corporate box stores, including a lack of employee knowledge in their department. I would still choose Home Depot over Lowe’s but this store is meh and the company in general is meh.

    We bought a brand new Whirlpool fridge from Home Depot in Idaho Falls last May. It wasn’t delivered until august. The installation was terrible and they damaged the fridge and it took them over 3 hours (all of our food went bad). They ended up replacing the fridge because it was so badly damaged from installation. The replacement fridge has been making weird noises constantly since we got it, and has shut off randomly on various occasions (again we lose all of the food in the fridge every time this happens, which has cost hundreds of dollars). We have had their repair guy over probably five or six times and the problem keeps returning. The fridge shut off once again and all of our food went bad yet again this last week (again, hundreds of dollars of food wasted). We haven’t even had this fridge for a year. Home Depot will not help us in any way or offer any solution, even after spending hours on the phone with corporate, Whirlpool, and talking to Home Depot’s on site local manager. They said we should have bought their 5 year warranty and basically it’s not their problem. We bought their product in good faith and believed they were selling us something that would function properly as they claim that it would, especially during the first few MONTHS of use! Very disappointed in this experience and how it has been handled, and how unwilling they are to help. We have lost a significant amount of money because of their poor quality products they’re selling. Currently looking into what our options would be to escalate this further.

    Unprompted the older employees are helpful, courteous, informative, kind and will go the extra mile for you at this particular store. The older folk will help you the best they can to solve any issue no matter how seemingly insignificant or trivial. In my personal experience the younger employees just don’t care. If you can’t find something or if you need a question answered, heck, if you are just curious about a product and there are no options but people under 40, forget about it. Just use the Home Depot app, Google or just leave. Trust me you’ll be better off. It’s a huge waste of time speaking to people that do not care.

    Home Depot in Idaho Falls is my go to, but in particular this location has an employee who’s name I do not know but his apron says Santa, and I’m sure everyone who works there knows who I’m talking about. You will never meet a friendlier more helpful person in a retail setting than Santa. It’s always a pleasure to interact with him and he genuinely seems to enjoy what he does. Home Depot, Santa is a hard workin, happy busy guy… you should reward him for it!

    Brett in the paint area today 5/20/23 was a complete jackass. I am a young girl who doesn’t know what she is doing but I tried asking for help on which paint was meant for kitchen cabinets and he sarcastically made a face and pointed to the cans and said “right there”. THEN they had closed the isle to remove something from the top shelf so myself and many others were waiting for that specific paint isle. There were about 4 workers standing there and one girl nicely had directed people because of where the forklift was going to go and asked that I had stayed where I was. Brett, the jackass, looked at me as if I was stupid and said “well aren’t you going to move?” Which then the nice girl said no they are going the other way. So all in all, not going back to Home Depot for paint supplies if Brett the jackass is there. His attitude, his demeanor, and his interactions with myself and other customers was NOT acceptable.
