What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. My husband loves going to home Depot. Tonight he feels like he got the deal of the year. They had some storage boxes that were a great deal and he got 10 of them! So he was very excited about that. We love just walking up and down the aisles to see what they have and at Christmas it’s more exciting.

I went to home Depot today because my husband saw some mums that were beautiful. I went back and they really are beautiful. They have them as small or as large as you would like starting from about $6 going up to about $30 a container. They are gorgeous and they have four different colors I bought three different colors but they also had a purple mum.

  2. I went to look for items for a remodel on my Bathroom. Associates were very knowledgeable and eager to help. I was advised to write or take a picture of the item(s) to the front register to order them and set up up to have them delivered to my Residence. I waited in line then was told that I would have to order on line to have them shipped to my Home. I could not pay for them then take them home by ordering a truck from them or get it to my home some other way. What? I just went home and went on line myself to order them. I never heard of such practice where they wouldn’t let you pay them have them deliver from the store to residence. I still was able to get items I wanted by going on line however, why do consumers go to the stores anymore? It’s all going to be on line soon? I myself like to go and physically see the items in person instead on a screen. Just me I guess?

  3. I was standing at the customer service desk to pick up a roadie order, I was being polite and waiting, to let them finish what they were doing before they acknowledged me, well eventually the blonde lady did witt a sarcastic “did you need help or something?”. I will be plenty pushy and rude next time, lady, don’t worry. The newer employee (from Ukraine maybe?) was nicer and had a very fun customer service personality. Also the guy who helped me load up the order obviously didn’t like the guy picking up some doors behind me, for no reason in particular, as did I, so we wasted time pointlessly maneuvering wooden planks around my trunk as if it were the world’s most interesting puzzle. They both saved my mood for the day.

  4. The older lady with the short blond bob w/ bangs and glasses should not be working Customer Service as she is one of the WORST customer service reps I have ever encountered. She stated she was on her way to lunch and saw me standing there and asked reluctantly if she could help (not sounding like she really wanted to help.) I gave her my order # and she said it was not there. I informed her that my app said it was there and at the customer service desk. She said its likely come in but not showing as ready. I repeated that the app says it was delivered to the customer service desk. She did not even attempt to look (clearly needing to get to lunch) and was unwilling when I asked to see if someone could just see if it might be ready but not scanned in yet as I have has this happen a few times now at this Home Depot. She said it was on a truck and she couldn’t do anything. I mentioned that I had to come across town and that this was not close for me wasn’t there anything she could do but never looking at anything other than her screen she refused. I get she was ready for lunch and I would have been happy to have someone else help me so that I did not have to waste 1.5 hrs of my day making multiple trips but she was totally unhelpful in any way and totally unwilling to be helpful or even pretend to try,. This lady should NOT be interacting with customers as she has no personable skills. I have never been more frustrated or irritated with and exchange and will likely avoid purchasing anything else with Home Depot (especially this location) moving forward. Its sad really as we had just purchased whole house flooring and several other items here and had a good experience but this one was so lacking of any hint of customer service that I will not be likely to work with them again. If I could I would return the items I purchased and buy them at Lowes (which has always been exceptional for us) I would but I have the contractors here today waiting to install the fans that she was too lazy to get me assistance with because she was more concerned with taking her lunch and couldn’t be bothered to find someone that was willing to help.

  5. Do NOT EVER buy windows through Home Depot in Summerville. We purchased our windows -13- in October. They finally came in and were installed in February. 1 was missing. 1 was broken but they installed it anyway! Here we are in May and they won’t return my calls. I have even called corporate to step in and nothing!

Was looking for bags of top soil to fill in holes around new driveway.. Home Depot had lots of bags available. I was able to load my cart and along the way to checkout enjoy the Halloween decorations.

I ordered something online and went to pick it up. Even though they had plenty of the items that I ordered, the person at the customer service counter refused to fill the order because the ones that I ordered hadn’t been received. 2 days later, I spoke with a manager, Christian. Even though the order had still not arrived, he showed some good sense and filed the order with his existing inventory. At least one person at the store showed some common sense, and I felt appreciated as a customer.

Come see the tiny stop sign!! The two way exit has one regular stop sign and one tiny one… lolol… I mean.. it’s funny… don’t change it! So.. yes – this store is very well run, and the product is pretty straight and organized. This is no easy task in a big box construction materials type of store. Typically, they look like they’ve been looted. Not this one. Plenty of helpful staff and rarely a wait in line at all. Great experience!
