  1. I want to love this place, as a local hardware store in a walkable neighborhood is a precious thing, but honestly I usually leave here feeling bad. The prices on the shelves are just wildly inaccurate. I get that inflation was high last year, but it’s like they’re not even trying to keep up with it. Most items are 30% higher than marked, but the markup varies so you have no way to know which is cheapest. Just carry an armful of similar items to the register and maybe one of them will be reasonably priced.
    Also, why don’t they ask for your Ace Rewards number? Customer loyalty programs can be annoying, but Ace frequently sends coupons in the mail so I actually like this one.
    This place could be so much better.

  3. The store is very large it has two floors and a nice staircase going down to the lower floor. They have just about anything you might need. The staff are friendly and helpful.

  4. They are very helpful here and have stuff you’re not going to find at a big box store. Plus the building is ancient and gives off a vibe you rarely encounter these days!🤠

    Ace stores are always a slight bit more expensive than most of its competetors.. However, the staff are everywhere around then store and eager to answer any questions you ight have or assist you in finding what you might be looking for. And it’s the best place for connectors whether that be speed nuts, cotter pins, nuts, bolts, screws etc. Huge selection. Bulk. Worth the extra cost.

    Expensive and unlikely to have what you need. Every so often they come in handy but they cost enough to warrant the extra 7 miles to go to home depot

    Absolutely LOVE this store! The girls are always happy, engaging & pleasantly welcoming! The guys.. well, damn if you ever have to look for one; they are everywhere and anxious to expeditiously point you in the direction your heading or more often then not, instructing you to follow them, as they head toward your interest of tool, accessory or product! 12 stars out of a ranking of 10!!! “Thank you!”
