- Reviews:This was my visit to the store since they took over the whole building and remodeled everything. Very impressive and easy to get around the new layout and find exactly what I needed. The staff was also very friendly, helpful, and efficient when I grabbed an item without a bar code to get the price. (cedar). I just tried using the can today and although never opened the whole can had decomposed inside the can. A milky liquid with small clumps of matter that could not be used. I guess the shelf life of the stain / sealant is not too long. If you buy something, don’t wait to use it too long. – Back to the store –By S. Spees (a week ago)I had 3 different returns for my employer and only 2 receipts. The cashier never got rude or short with me. She stayed sweet and positive. I had a very positive experience at Westlake Ace Hardware yesterday. An employee named Scot, took very good care of me from the moment I approached him. Scot was very knowledgeable, professional and kind when I asked for his help. He helped me locate the product I needed to fix my problem, and he even did a price check for me when I suggested I thought I might be able to get it at a lower price at Walmart. Turns out, the price at Ace was actually way less expensive than Walmart!
Hold onto Scot, He’s definitely an asset to Ace!

Sometimes it’s convenient to shop here, but the other day I went in asking about an item that the website said was in stock at this location. The manager noisily laughed at me and said they didn’t have any. I went to check anyway, she was right. I walked by her as I left. She didn’t say anything. No apologies, no “have a nice day.” She actively seemed to avoid looking at me even though she was just standing there not doing anything. Obviously it’s a lack of professionalism, but also an excess of social awkwardness. Does that mean this is a bad hardware store? No, but this incident will always stick with me.
GREAT Customer Service! This is the place to buy a Weber grill. Very knowledgeable person walked me through the feature I had questions about, obviously had first hand experience.
This particular Ace Hardware has a larger selection of screws that others hardware stores do not carry. Especially weird sized “Gun Screws” such as 6-40 and 6-48 like my CZ optic cut is tapped for. Unfortunately, they seem to be out of stock half the time.
Great staff and great selection. They have a little bit of everything. Everybody was super helpful and courteous and smiling faces. I’ve come back multiple times to ask Joe about paint and plumbing. Ruth was also very helpful in the past.
