It doesn’t matter what department you check in for quote. They are always there to help us. We have bought mulch, best paint quality, bathroom sets, appliances, doors, fence, electrical equipment etc. This place always neat and clean. Fast self checkout is available, early order can be picked up. Never had bad experience with so they are doing amazing job. My dishwasher was delivered with the wrong installation kit and the 1-800 number number people were idiots and had no clue what was going on. I went into the store and Abby gave me the correct dishwasher installation kit without any hassle and knew exactly what I was talking about. I have never before dealt with a customer service associate that was so easy to work with. I expected to go into the store and have to fight with the store manager. I paid for delivery because of the quantity of things needed. When the order was dropped off it was short some deck boards. The delivery driver could have cared less and told us to call the store. Well we called the store and they had the nerve to ask if we had a way to come pick them up. Fairly certain that’s why we paid for delivery. The Pro Desk associate checked with the manager and we were then told the delivery was staged out of the Camillus store and we would need to call them. So apparently they really didn’t want to help us. I would have expected the Clay store to take ownership of the problem….silly me! The Camillus store did take care of the error but I shouldn’t need to make multiple calls to have an issue resolved. As a truck driver. Worst experience ever. The receiver department have a bad altitude.the way they talk to drivers is with no respect. Stop treating drivers like they are $hi?&$. We are human beings and we have families too ,we want to spend a weekend with our families if is possible. Stop making our life miserable. The old lady at the receiving. U should find you a bf/gf ,Probably u will be happy, and make our life easy. Remember be kind to yourself first and to others.
I had an extremely frustrating experience after purchasing a washing machine from Home Depot. The delivery was the biggest problem. The company is frankly incompetent. Their communication is terrible, and on several occasions they changed the delivery date with little explanation. (In one case, the machine did not “make it” onto the truck.) When the machine was delivered, they refused to bring it downstairs saying it would not fit. (It does fit, as I had the same machine installed by Lowes, after cancelling my order with Home Depot). Now I am waiting for them to pick up a (smaller) machine that I ordered but that does not work. Again, they did not call me to let me know when they are showing up. Just an overall terrible experience. I will never buy another appliance from Home Depot.
Diana Manager at store #1236 is always helpful. She is always training new staff to meet customer demands. Doesn’t matter what’s going on, she is always smiling, and making customers feel warm.
Worst Home Depot I’ve ever been to, every cart is taken up with online orders and the aisles are full of them making it harder to get around. I’ve had to wait in the parking lot 20+ minutes to get a cart from someone leaving, the pro desk is usually quick to check out though.
Receiving is always patient and organized when I make deliveries here. Nothing in life is perfect but with the volume of trucks they get, a 5 star rating is definitely more than appropriate.
