I bought a gallon of white Simi gloss enamel, a few weeks go bye so I return to the Ace Hardware so they can tint the paint that the wife picked out,they told me NO I must get paint tinted the day I buy it, I said what? It’s your brand paint Noone else sells it , only Ace! I need you to tint it for me or else I’m stuck with white paint that I can’t use, they told me sorry sir. Good for nothing lazy worker, I will go to lowes or the home depot they at least honor their products.

  3. Store kind of weakly stocked IMO but bigger issue was being followed around the store by a female clerk like I was some sort of big threat of shoplifting. I’m about as far away as a stereotype of someone stores would typically worry about for shoplifting. 1 & done visit for me. Charcoal I was looking at is about 40% cheaper at nearby big box store.

    To the store if you read this: If you’re going to bird dog a customer around the store for fear of shoplifting, at least have the clerk play the game like they’re trying to offer help to the customer. The lady following me around looked me right in the eye a couple of times but never asked if I needed help or was looking for anything specific.

  4. Even though I’ve done reviews before for this store that I’ve discovered in the last few months. Today I find I must leave another review I keep forgetting his name, however, the young gentleman at the front with the long black braided hair. He remembered I went to Canada for vacation. He is so helpful to me. I keep coming in to buy more paint and always always. He helps me out. I just want to again, thank you management for having this gentleman and if you’ve never come here before you must because this is the absolute number one hardware store in Las Vegas.

    I want to love this place, as a local hardware store in a walkable neighborhood is a precious thing, but honestly I usually leave here feeling bad. The prices on the shelves are just wildly inaccurate. I get that inflation was high last year, but it’s like they’re not even trying to keep up with it. Most items are 30% higher than marked, but the markup varies so you have no way to know which is cheapest. Just carry an armful of similar items to the register and maybe one of them will be reasonably priced. Also, why don’t they ask for your Ace Rewards number? Customer loyalty programs can be annoying, but Ace frequently sends coupons in the mail so I actually like this one. This place could be so much better.

    The store is very large it has two floors and a nice staircase going down to the lower floor. They have just about anything you might need. The staff are friendly and helpful.
