  1. I LOVED this neighborhood Ace Hardware store on Greentree Road in the Greentree neighborhood just a little south of the city of Pittsburgh. I was able to purchase a wide variety of items I needed, from items to block drafts, painting supplies, gardening supplies, etc. They even have some things for pets. The staff was wonderful, very helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend this store!

  2. Great experience all around! I ordered 4 Adirondack chairs and got a phone call letting me know they were in. I missed the call but called back to inquire about the size of the chairs. The guy who answered the phone nicely went and measured the chairs and let me know the dimensions. I later when to pick them up on the evening of 12/9, and one of the employees carried them to my car. When two of the employees saw I was struggling to fit them in my car, since they were an odd shape, they came outside and helped me for 15 minutes in the cold. After a little Tetris they did fit. I am very thankful for all of their help and kindness!!

  3. This a great neighborhood hardware store. Easy to get to off of the freeway, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Quite handy if you want an alternative to driving half an hour out to any of the big box hardware stores in the area.

  4. The owner or manager has amazing customer service. I highly recommend this place. I was dealing with a frustrating online order for an EGO mower and she went out of her way to find solutions for me and get me a great price on a new purchase. She even had a staff member help me put the new one together! Thanks so much, I will definitely be back as a customer.

  5. This is the best small hardware store in Scott Township/Green Tree. The people are amazing – super friendly, well-trained and genuinely awesome. I can be in and out in less than 5-10 minutes.

    Young kid, employee standing out front, never said hi or hello nor acknowledged me. As I walked around the store trying to find what I needed, he again past me and never said a word not asking if I needed assistance. After finding what I needed, and carrying large box around, Denis from up front to the middle of the store where I was and asked if I needed anything, well he was a good distance and well behind me, as I’m carrying what I needed. Unfortunately, he was the cashier I got. Handed me the slip and never said thank you, have a nice day, nothing never said a word. This store is well out of my way and only came here because I had a birthday coupon for $10 off. The lousy service was definitely not worth the $10 off. I have a background in management and this is appalling

    We went to the Oakmont store to purchase a Canzo Fire Deep Chat set. We paid, and the store manager loaded my truck. Upon arrival at our house, we noticed they hadn’t loaded the 2nd box containing the fire table. On Monday morning, I called the store. The store manager who loaded my truck said that he would order us another table since they had none. I waited 4 days per his instruction and called him back. He claimed it would take 2 weeks to get the fire table in, or I could pick another fire table from his store. My wife and myself had it in our mind that we wanted a match set since this is what we paid for. I called the store on a Friday, 11 days after I initially purchased the set. We got the run around yet again. A different manager stated they hadn’t ordered it yet. At this point, I located a whole set at another store and purchased it. While i was there, i asked the store manager to see if a Canzo table was available at the warehouse. She showed me that 11 were available for order. At this point, my wife and I were angry. I had to drive 80 miles, pay tolls and waste my time because it couldn’t be handled correctly . I returned to the Oakmont store and returned the chairs to them. This is a ridiculous way to take care of customers. I have yet to hear from anyone at the Oakmont store.

    Always a Perfect go to in Oakmont..when you need something in a pinch hardware wise. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Great place.
