If I make the commitment to show up before 10 you should do me the same courtesy to stay open until 10… I only wanted 1 item. It’s like people are afraid to work a full shift. We live near mountain air and have a mailbox at the ups store in Los Lunas (we don’t have mail services where we live). I order Herbalife and have used fedex dropoff locations for years to receive it (in various states) and have never had an issue. I show up and provide identification, sign and they release the package. This time I added my wife as the person for pickup since she works nearby and will be in the area. She calls and starts telling me they don’t want to release the package because “the address doesn’t match her ID”. I’m like “what?”. The employee is telling her it’s policy that the shipping address on the package (which is dollar general) has to match what’s on her driver’s license. My wife literally spent a quarter of her lunch break having to explain to this girl why her driver’s license couldn’t have the dollar generals address on it and how if the package had any other address on it then the package wouldn’t be there because it would be at that other address. The employee insisted that my wife had to provide something with the DG address on it so she pulled up the Herbalife order and showed it to the employee with the DG address listed as shipping and finally got the package after 20 minutes. It’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard in my life. Im not a fan of this particular store as a customer because of bad service and now I won’t even use their FedEx drop off either. I’ll just pick it up next time with my normal mail at my PMB.By Ronald Clark (6 months ago)I came into the store a few weeks ago and the store looked like a mess! I was walking with another customer and boxes were thrown everywhere. I came in this morning and I was marvel, the store looks night and day compared to what it was. Nothing to say but immaculate work from Rebecca the leader of the team and Julia her hand that helps on the floor. I know it had to have been a lot of hard work and a ton of go backs and a lot of front facing. There is still a few more aisles to get done, but overall they are heading in the right direction, with the sells floor looking like this, business will go up. Only that there were allergies. Well, those allergies turned out to be influenza. Putting my father and mother in the ER. This is my favorite store! Danielle, the manager, and the other staff members are always friendly & helpful. They have great weekly sales, digital coupons & in store offers that can seriously bring your total of purchases way down & save u alot of money! Using the online app is so easy & it makes shopping simple and fast. I usually go every other Saturday & I look forward to each trip.
To Danielle, store manager, You may wanna teach the cashier that customers are not obligated to look for prices ,that’s the employees of Dollar General‘s job …lol . Anywhooo, Gilbert was nice enough and did a price check on a rug for me. The female cashier ,w/ glasses, wanted me to go get the prices of my items that the tags had fallen of. I got one price for her but when she got mad about another rug without price tag, I refused because I I saw a laziness pattern developing. Generally a decent store to get items for a new move in or inexpensive groceries and household items, kinda cool store .overall
I was hired to work there and went in for about 3 days alot of life changes happen to me in the small amount of time I worked there. And today was the day I was supposed to be paid 3 days or not I am still owed wages. I had to resign after my doctor’s told me I had a health problem that would no longer allow me to work on my feet as this issues can cause me to get dizzy and faint. Which is super unsafe so I did this job a favor by allowing them to know after I was discharged from the hospital that I was no longer able to continue this job. But I worked and haven’t been paid. If this issue isn’t fixed ASAP I will be contacting the bbb and filing a report with the appropriate parties. Tried calling over 5 times and no answer. This is very unprofessional.
I don’t understand why it says this store is open… It’s VERY rarely open…. I love this store and find myself always disappointed because almost everytime I go… It’s closed!
I Went looking for an opportunity to work and went several different times and when asked to come in for a interview, wasted my time completely, giving me no real information on if was getting the job or not, Store Manager Domique led me on Saying she would give me a call and never did. Not a very good store or The employees that manage it, Keep the same unprofessional/Rude employees the reviews keep Speaking about.
