  2. Macy’s at destiny mall had a shooter tonight that turned out to a lockdown and evacuation. I have never experienced such a thing in my life and without Sharon from cosmetics I don’t know that I would not have fallen apart! She was well trained and very calm. I can’t thank her enough for being there for me! She was wonderful!

  3. Was there to get a suitcase. Managed to get one that I liked and for a reasonable price. Also bought a few kid’s dresses that were under promotion. The staff were helpful and quick to respond.

  4. Part of the reason department stores are going under is because their staff doesn’t want to help the customers. I waited at the men’s cologne for about 15 minutes today while three staff members just talked away about their vacations. I could have went to them and told them what I wanted to buy, but it’s not my job to try and get help, it’s their job to help the customers.

  5. Macys is still the go-to department store. Most likely, you’ll find what you are looking for as far as clothing, shoes, linens, and kitchen. The sales reps are pleasant when you find them. A good store to shop

    Not bad at all, quite a decent selection and lots to see. Store is fairly large and there are deals to be had if you have patience. They even have Ray-Bans for $60 USD which I found surprising. Decent deals on womens cosmetics as well.

    Nice store, fun clothes, great prices. There is a remarkably large exercise clothing section. The store always looks a little sparse – like a half-empty TJMaxx or something. Similar products as TJXX, Marshalls, Burlington (they have those annoying wheel-locking carts that bruise your ankles when you try to wheel them out the door like Burlington as well). Their card readers were down when I went on black friday so we had to use cash which was a little inconvenient. It’s also massively inconvenient that they don’t have a restroom avaliable for customers to use. There is a sign in front that says it is closed and it’s locked. But I went back twice in a two week period and the sign was still there so even though it LOOKS temporary, they’re obviously not doing anything about it.

    Was just there today, 10/29/22. Apparently the card machines were down and one employee kept asking if anyone was paying cash as he said that’s all his register could do. All the other employees were taking customers and looking around and not once while we were on the line, did one of them say they couldn’t accept cards. Found out from another customer and even he said that was poor management. I work in retail and would have made announcements, stating they couldn’t accept card payments. We felt like idiots and just left the stuff on a register and walked out. Good job just staring at customers and not saying anything. Excellent customer service -_-.
