  1. A medium sized store that always seems short of staff. No staff means price signs are missing. There is a constant obstacle course of boxes too. That being the case, seasonal items take awhile to get out. Regularly stocked items make it to the shelf a lot quicker. Oh yeah, there could be a wait in line.

  3. I went in to get one thing. The lady at the register greeted me and was so pleasant. I was confused on trying to download a digital coupon and MONA was so pleasant and helped me so much I had a great experience. I will be back soon

  5. It is one of the better Dollar stores in the Topeka area. Always friendly staff. It’s a clean store. It’s usually stocked. Not far from the hospital.

    Understaffed as these places often are, but pleasantly clean and tidy, not torn to bits like some I’ve seen. I was able to find what I needed quickly, at a bit better quality than the sheer junk at convenience stores, and check out without problems. The lot was safe enough too, for the marginal neighborhood. A pleasant little surprise.

    My heart broke for the two ladies who work. It’s so sad the other dollar general closed but not this one for thanksgiving. What kind of store or district manager do they have? It’s the holiday, it’s apparent if you want off you can but think about your employees. Don’t lose employees appreciate them. It’s the holidays just be kind enough to consider them and give them time off. Bad review on this location you think it couldn’t get any worst then the store present itself, just going in and two ladies working on thanksgiving day! Sad!

    Always a great place to buy my essentials like toilet paper, laundry detergent, and hygiene products. The only issue is that they are often out of a lot of items. Today, it was cleaning sprays and other cleaning supplies. They literally had ONE bottle of spray cleaner and it was a bathroom foaming cleaner with bleach, so it was very specific and so I didn’t want to use bleach on some of the things I was planning to clean, so I have to looks for it elsewhere, now. If they could keep shelves stocked, I’d give 5 stars!
