Two lines were open, which is unusual here, and I chose the shorter one, and waited while the two people in front of me checked out. Just as she was starting to check the person ahead of me, she looked at me and said “You’ll have to get in the other line, I am going home.” I left the cart and walked out, as the other lane had six or seven people in it. I would not have minded if she had said something when I entered the line, or had a lane closed sign up, but I had waited far too long as it was. I probably won’t go back. Their phone is either out or off the hook 24 hours a day. They really don’t want to blow up balloons and will say they are out of helium so they won’t have to. 🤷♀️
