All they did was for my credit card. I have the receipts on my target app from where I purchased them. I didn’t want the money back or to return anything just wanted to exchange a diaper size for another size. Nice to treat all of your customers like they are conning you out of your billions you are raking in 🙄. They said my online order was too old, I would have even paid the difference if there was an increase for inflation. They get my money either way way, so why can’t they exchange their own unopened product for the same product just a different size? now I’m just going to Walmart instead to shop, not that they need my money it just seems silly. Placed a pick up order five hours ago, and it still said processing at the five hour mark (they say it’s 2 hour pick up), an hour befofe close. So I called the store, no answer at all. So I just had to call target corporate to file a complaint, cancel this order, and they said once I shop it in store call back and they’ll give me the promotional offer that was supposed to be applied to the same day pick up…. 🙄 having to go shopping with my toddlers at 9 PM now so we have our stuff for Monday morning.
This store struggles.
It’s often a mess in various departments, specifically the clothes, and it’s been that way for a few years now. It’s certainly not down at Walmart level disaster, but it’s approaches it at times. Corporate needs to focus on this store. The recent ‘remodel’ does NOT help. First, who made these design decisions?? Removing the tile for polished bare concrete is not an upgrade, at least not in a store that is a mess. It makes the store look cheap. It was better before. Also a bump-out jutting into the home department that closed off a portion of a main isle?? What were you thinking?? That’s a major FAIL. Fix it. And if that isn’t clear enough for you: RESTORE IT.
To J Bean, obviously you are unaware of the unfortunate circumstances that happened yesterday. THEY HAD A FIRE. I was there. They evacuated the store. Your complaint is 💯 unwarranted due to this. (See picture)

While I have my own thoughts on how employees could have handled the situation better, I am NOT going to complain about how I was next in line to pickup and did not get to receive my items. THAT’S PERFECTLY FINE!
*No stars deducted at this time for this isolated incident. My rating is primarily based on normal everyday store performance; which would be 3.5 if 1/2 stars were an option.
I was in this place and when paying I told the employee Chris to honor the Amazon price and he did not want to do it. I start giving meaningless explanations. It’s the 1st time something like this has happened. I have been to other Target stores and I have never had that problem, they always do it without problems, they even verify it with their machines. What I did was that I stopped buying the items there and ordered them through Amazon.
What can I say….everyone loves Target. The only bad thing about this last visit was that there was only one cashier. The self checkout had a line that went quick. It was clean.
