  MacMillan was professional, reasonably priced, and absolutely phenomenal at music selection for my wedding reception and ceremony.

  We had a great night, and our dance floor was non stop the whole event. Josh (the DJ) was able to incorporate our requests beautifully and mix it with some classic wedding dance music to make sure that everyone wanted to be dancing all night.

  Ty was a very fun DJ and we loved having him at our wedding! He had great energy and clearly loved what he was doing. His song choices were fantastic, and was very receptive to any requests given, and even made sure to check with us when an explicit song was requested. He did a fantastic job accommodating the fact that we had 2 officiants and was overall just a fun DJ, person, and presence to have at the Wedding. We will very highly recommend Ty to everyone!

  Mark from MacMillan entertainment was absolutely amazing! We had so much fun on the dance floor from the moment it opened right up until the end of the night. He was very patient and accommodating all night even when we all got kind of enthusiastic about impromptu requests. He played all our favourites and really exceeded our expectations. We could not have been any happier with how the evening went! We had many guests approach us to tell us how much they were enjoying the music and dancing. Thank you so much Mark!   We had such an amazing time with Josh H as our DJ for our wedding. He was professional and super knowledgeable about the event space as a whole. He even knew more about the set up, event schedule and overall wedding than the Day of Coordinator! He was able to coordinate with my photographer when the schedule was a little messed up.

  Overall, we had a fantastic time and Josh only amplified the experience!

  I can’t imagine being able to pull off my dream wedding without Judi and I’m so grateful to her and her team for all the help!

  I hired Judi about 9 months prior to my wedding, when all I had determined was my friends’ lake house as the venue. To complicate matters, neither my husband or I are Canadian, and we were in China, India, and the States through the whole planning process! Judi wasn’t phased by the distance or the time difference, and always responded with impressive promptness. She also helped me pay the vendors in CAD, which was a big hurdle to overcome!

  I truly feel Judi went above and beyond throughout the whole process, and it seemed like she did much more than, “day of organization!” From her recommendations for vendors to setting up my decor, everything was perfection! She asked me all the important questions, that never even would have occurred to me, in order to cover all the bases. She was also able to pull off some last minute requests, like securing a porta-potty the day before the wedding. Amazing!

  I am giving Wheelhouse Event Company a 100 star review. Judi, Sarah and the team were absolutely AMAZING for our wedding! From our first meeting, I knew that we were in good hands. We were able to relax and enjoy our special day knowing that everything was taken care of. The entire team was friendly and fun and helped to make the event better than I imagined. They thought of things that I didn’t think of and even made a last minute stop to grab something I forgot. I give them my highest recommendation and encourage anyone planning an event to hire them.   I didn’t really know what to expect with a wedding planner but needed some help. Judi and Sara went above and beyond our expectations. Even though our wedding took place in a restaurant, they made sure it looked like a country barn with lots of wood, lights and different accents all over the place. We were amazed with how much they did just by us telling them what we were looking to do. They made it all magically appear and all we had to do was show up. It was extremely comforting knowing that they understood what we were looking for with just a few in person meetings and text messages. All I can say is these ladies are miracle workers and they will make your event even better than it could be!! Thanks Judi and Sara

  I don’t even know where to begin with this review. I highly highly recommend Judi and her team. We had Wheelhouse included in our venue. Unfortunately the venue closed down through Covid due to a family tragedy. I was in instant panic as I wasn’t sure how to go about anything. I’ve never planned a wedding before. I was able to keep Judi as she was already booked for our wedding day I was beyond great full when I heard that. We instantly got in touch and we talked about venues, decor, dresses, food and everything else. Judi told me she is behind me and willing to help me with whatever I needed. I immediately felt better. I found my venue which was further north then what we hoped for but the team was willing to make the travel. Through the whole wedding planning she was there whenever I needed her, all hours of the day and night. When I needed help with vendors she was quick to tell me who she suggests, she would tell me if things were a good price or over priced.  I had many many things happen during my wedding planning and I must say I wouldn’t have gotten through it without her.  I had certain things covered in my package but I wanted things changed she was happy to give me what I wanted. We ran into issues when prices of things started to climb but we worked together and made everything work to my expectations and hers!

  When our wedding day came I couldn’t have been happier with how stunning the team made our venue. Our venue was a old brick barn with stunning homemade harvest tables. I didn’t want much for décor as the place was beautiful. I wanted greenery and simple and her and her team made all my dreams come true. Everyone complimented  our décor and our bouquets.  Her team did a fantastic job. They came back the Sunday and packed everything up for us. When I arrived at the venue they had everything in bags and totes so I just had to load them into our truck.

  The late night chats, the on going support and the beautiful work is out of this world. If you want the perfect, most organized wedding day hire Wheelhouse you will not be disappointed.

  We truly couldn’t have had the wedding of our dreams if it weren’t for Judi and her team! From start to finish – 1.5 years, Judi has been phenomenal to work with. Our particular venue required all rentals and vendors to come together and we couldn’t have managed that without the wheelhouse team, little things you wouldn’t think of, Judi was on top of it! Judi introduced us to the majority of our vendors and we met some amazing people. The Wheelhouse team set up and decorated our ceremony & reception and exceeded our expectations! The team was very attentive during the reception to ensure my husband and I were eating and getting everything we needed. We had the most relaxing morning/day knowing the team was there to handle any issues that came up. Highly highly recommend Wheelhouse to anyone!
