  2. Good prices, but there’s almost always a bunch of homeless people waiting outside asking for money. Have not gone here in a while because of that.

I shop my local dollar general about 4-9 times a month…… From a customer’s perspective the customer service has been a struggle to say the least I will say that the customer service I experienced August September of 2022 is nothing like the customer service that I continue to experience on an ongoing basis noticeably improved since the beginning of this year. There are a few standout employees that go above and beyond and I can definitely tell that they take pride in their own work ethic and it shines through. Specifically I am continuously impressed with Tasia, Avery and Devontay. It absolutely makes a 1000 percent difference in where I want to spend my money, as opposed to dollar general being my last resort because of the convenience…… Lately it’s been my go to for all of my crafting needs. I would love to see my favorite associates promoted to the management team…… So that great service is the prototype. Please keep up the good work!!!!!

    SURPRISE I FOUND MYSELF IN NEED OF A FEW LAST MINUTE (and I DO mean last minute twas the DARN 24th people),PRESENTS AND WHAT SHOULD APPEAR TO MY VERY SMALL WALLET BUT DOLLAR GENERAL BRINGING A HUMONGOUS SMILE ACROSS MY PETITE FACE.HAPPY, HAPPY MY FRIENDS SOOOOO I PRECEDED TO PURCHASE THE GIFTS THAT I NEEDED EACH FOR UNDER TEN DOLLARS!!     The cashier’s there are ALWAYS very rude!! The new one’s start off being nice, then eventually pick up the same attitude! They rush you, they have no respect or concern for social distance, as they will say ” next” to the next customer when you haven’t even walked away, from the counter

    They had a little over 5 minutes left and I was overheating by myself with no phone to call for help and they wouldn’t let me in to grab coolant or even answer a question about having coolant. The gentleman at the door was very rude and acted as if I wasn’t even good enough to look at. I didn’t get help till about 30-45 minutes after closing! And that’s not a good area to b stuck at especially at night and alone so just off that I will never shop there again!
