Very friendly staff. They are both friendly and knowledgeable. Helped me locate and explain the items I needed to repair the copper water pipe to my outside spigot. I am a customer for life!
They don’t have the selection of the big box stores, and prices are a bit higher, but you can’t beat having a neighborhood hardware store. I enjoy seeing the same friendly, helpful people who remember me and always try to help me find what I need. And they have popcorn!
A helpful and conveniently placed Ace. We have a job site downtown and if anyone knows construction, there’s always something you need from the store. And when you’re working downtown it’s hard to come by hardware stores. This store has saved us some long trips to the suburbs many times!
I received EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE AT THE FRONT DOOR as soon as I walked in. Sharon was polite and confident with finding exactly what I needed. I then went to checkout and ask the cashier to add 10-169 bags soil. She responded, WHAT? So I then said organic top soil 1 dollar 69 cents. Her reply, no we don’t have any at that price. So I told her I called earlier and a gentleman confirmed, “Yes, we have it. Then she says, “Oh yeah … but it’s not organic,” Anyway, I got the organic top soil for $1,69. Then as I am loading it, the customer behind me comes over and ask me what I paid for them and she said the cashier said they didn’t have any and told her she needed miracle grow soil for over twice as much. The cashier was rude and ignorant. I’ve shopped at Ace for over 20 years and never ever was treated so rudely.
Great place! The store people actually help you find what you’re looking for… They have a truly nice selection given the size of the store… THIS is the kind of place you should take your business too! DUPPORT SMALL AMERICAN BUSINESSES!!! 👍👍 AND WORTH THE TRIP!
