  It’s difficult to put into words just how much I appreciate and recommend the services by Land Legal. My hopes for this review are not only to commemorate the exceptional experience I have had personally, but also that this review can help even one other parent who is here because of the same difficult situation I was in several years ago.

  If you are looking for the absolute best family lawyer-look no further. It is so hard to truly reflect what a wonderful and life changing experience working with Land legal has been, I had the privilege of working with Joseph Land and Ashley personally. These two are as good as it gets. The best part of working with Joseph and Ashley is that you truly feel like you are their only client and main priority at every moment. I never felt I received anything but the utmost attention to detail in my case. Both Ashley and Joseph have returned my messages/emails after hours and even on weekends. Joseph attended court with me the day before a major holiday (not that anyone would know we were a day away from the holidays, he worked extremely hard and absolutely nailed every line delivered in court that day)

  So many aspects of this process were new to me, and at times they were absolutely terrifying to navigate. I genuinely don’t know what I would have done without them to help me and answer my (many) questions along the way. It feels wrong to only be able to give 5 stars to the people who helped me protect and ensure my daughters safety. What can you say to someone who gives you a gift that big? I could thank land legal for the rest of my life for what they have done for my family and still feel I owe them more.   What can I say about Joe and Ashley that hasn’t already been said? I had nearly a 2 year custody battle with a very difficult ex. From the beginning to the end of my case, these two were responsive, compassionate, and encouraging. Joe is straight to the point, honest, and genuinely cares about what’s best for the child. I never felt he was trying to get money out of me or get me to do something that didn’t make sense. Ashley is super empathetic and a total boss, she advocated for me when I needed and she even held my hand when I was a nervous wreck. Anytime I needed to call or get an answer, I heard back the same day and sometimes within minutes. Divorce is a terrible situation, even moreso when children and complicated dynamics are involved.   This review is a long time coming. I wanted to wait until my case was resolved. Joseph is an exceptional attorney. I should know, I’ve worked for other attorneys for about 15 years. I know a good attorney when I come across one. I do not specialize in family law nor did I know any family law attorneys personally. I knew I needed the best family law attorney I could find and did.

  I had special circumstances that needed immediate attention. I’m so glad I found Joe. He’s attentive and extremely compassionate. I would consider myself a high maintenance client. Because I work in the legal field I have high expectations. Joe and his staff absolutely handled everything that came their way. Very unique and highly sensitive matters we’re handled with urgency and care, effectively. I couldn’t be any more grateful for everything Joe and his firm have done.

  I hired Joe on a retainer ( very much worth it) Quiet frankly I know how difficult some attorney’s can be when it comes to being hands on with their clients. Joe is the complete opposite. He was there every time I needed him. Some days I wasn’t the most pleasant to deal with because I was frazzled. He was patient with me. He was always very assuring and had answers for me every time I had questions or concerns. Always had a solution. There were many.

  In the end we were successful. The judge granted all the orders we asked for. I am very pleased with the outcome.

  Joe is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to complicated custody cases. Let’s face it. Divorces and separations are hard as is. Add children and it gets extremely messy and emotional. What could be more personal than family? Our children? Nothing.

  I don’t know what I would have done without Joe. He was there through out it all. Complicated scenarios and circumstances he handled with easy. He helped me so much. He brought me peace of mind.Nothing can compare to that. That’s top tier representation in my book. Having him as my counsel was the best for my family. He truly cares about his clients well being.   Sensational attorney! Don’t make the same mistake so many people make; shopping around until you find the attorney that tells you what you want to hear. I like Joe because he stands out. He tells you what you need to know, what you need to hear and isn’t shy to have your back in court. The horrible untruths spun by opposing counsel use to have me cringe . Now whenever I read opposing counsels responses I roll my eyes with annoyance and I let Joe take care of it. He’s not going to chase opposing around the courtroom while they play duck duck goose with deciding which false allegation to tag you with!

  He has integrity, grit and a voice in the eyes of adversity . You can’t help but admire his respect for himself, his clients and the judges when he refuses to play with mudslinging tactics often used by other attorneys. . He’s too keen on the law to resort to such a callow form of litigating. He goes above and beyond the scope of most attorneys.   Hello Divorce is a great help and resource during the divorce process. Going though the paperwork is overwhelming but it was helpful to have someone helping me through it. They were very patient and answered any questions I had when completing my parts of the paperwork. They also sent helpful articles that explained things really well. They even had some articles that reassured me when it came to the difficult moments. I appreciated the prompt responses to emails and updates when waiting to hear back from the courts. You definitely get what you pay for and more in my opinion. 10/10 would recommend as they say!

  So quick and easy, I can’t recommend this site enough. I worked with Jenn who was crazy fast at responding and very helpful. I felt like I barely had to do anything, it was so easy.   I am in the middle of a divorce in California and have been using Hello Divorce resources since before I even filed. This platform is incredibly accessible and has truly streamlined the process for me. Yes, I pay for the Pro plan, through which I have a divorce specialist who guides me through the steps, proofs my paperwork before submission to the courts, and answers all of my many, many questions. But I also have taken advantage of the many free and low-cost resources on the Hello Divorce website. There is so much available information and guidance I could talk about, but I’ll try to point out just a few things that were especially important to me.

  Firstly, the free 15-minute planning call is a phenomenal first step down the road to divorce. I came with some questions prepped (because I’m a planner), but even if you don’t know where to begin, give them a call. The reps will walk you through the process and save you from hours of searching the web.

  Secondly, the ease with which I can schedule time with a very approachable attorney and/or divorce coach means I can get the help I need when I need it in the increments desired for a fair fee. I love that I don’t have to deal with a retainer or pay for so many hours of work if I don’t need it. If I only need half an hour of time with the attorney, that’s what I buy. I come prepared to work and I often get everything done right then. Neil has answered every one of my questions quickly and clearly, and I always come away feeling like the visit was worth every penny spent. Use their attorneys to get quick answers for a reasonable fee in the privacy of wherever you want to take the call.

  HD divorce coach Kim and I planned what the “big talk” could look like, and Kara helped me to reframe the feelings I had moving through the process. We didn’t have to get into old stuff like a therapist would; we just dealt with the current issue, saving me a ton of time and money.

  Moreover, the free call with the divorce real estate strategist Chris was probably the most fortuitous of interactions with the platform. I had received a free home equity buyout analysis early on in the process, which was good information. One day, months later, while clicking on the website, I found a link for a free call with Chris. I honestly didn’t know what he would do for me, but I like information and figured that if he could even confirm that some options were viable for me in my individual situation, it’d be worth the time. By happy accident, I had this wonderful (FREE!) Zoom with someone who gave me clarity andadditional options I was not yet familiar with. Chris also directed me to information about a lien on my home that I did not know about, something which could have potentially stalled a buyout or sale. That was a great catch that probably saved me, again, time and money. He gave me the exact language to say when contacting the credit union about the “release of lien” from the county recorder, and I am getting that lien taken care of.

  As well, my account coordinator, Courtney, keeps me informed as to the status of my paperwork and informs me of any upcoming webinars that might be useful. My only criticism of working with the coordinator is that I wish we had a chat function or some more immediate way to contact her for quick questions. All communication is via email and with time changes/work schedules, that means some questions don’t get answered until the next business day. Not a travesty, but it can slow down the work.

  Overall, I am pleased with my Hello Divorce experience thus far, and while I don’t want the divorce process to drag on for much longer, I am grateful the whole team is there to support me along the ride.
