I had an exceptional experience! Mike Hussey and Nicole were precisely the support I required to navigate through this situation, and their dedication and responsiveness were truly remarkable. Mike put in tremendous effort and successfully negotiated my settlement, securing more than I could have ever expected if I had attempted it on my own. I wholeheartedly endorse this team. I never experienced any delays in receiving email responses, and they addressed every single one of my inquiries, consistently making me feel appreciated. My heartfelt thanks go out to Mike and Nicole for their unwavering dedication and hard work!

Spoke to mike over the phone for about 20 minutes and we was great to speak to. He gave me honest advice and did not try and convince me to pursue something. It was a great experience and I will definitely be calling him in the future if I ever need anything!

On August 15th 2019 my life was changed forever due to a distracted driver. The MVI left me with damage to my spine between the L3 and S1, as well as a detached tendon in my bicep. I met with Owen Lewis only a few days after my accident in which he reassured me he would assist me with the claim against the other driver. It has been a very long 4 and 1/2 years. Countless CTscan, X-ray, ultrasounds, and MRIs which all were followed up with specialist visits in Grande Prairie, Edmonton, Abbotsford, Surrey and Prince George. Many Physio assessments and dr letters. Back to work and no longer able to pursue my career. Owen has been empathetic and fought with the insurance company for a settlement while not what we had hoped is all the insurance company would give with out several more years and court battles. He listened and supported my choices. He encouraged me to be patient and fight in those 4+years. Thank you Owen for helping me receive some compensation for an accident that has permanently changed my career and ability to be the active athletic woman I was before August 15 2019. I highly recommend KMSC Law for all your future insurance claims. ** Think before you reach for anything that takes your eyes off the road— someone else’s life maybe at stake**

    Thank you Owen Lewis

    Sincerely Deanna Dwyer

The law company doesnt make alot of sense. They have great communication, keep you in the loop, text you with updates. I thought most law companies were very difficult to get ahold of, never chatted with you unless sending you the bill. I friggin’ love this service. Natasha has given the greatest experience I have ever had with a lawyer

I had Trevor as a lawyer. Poor service from him and unqualified in my opinion. He was more on my ex’s side then on mine. He kept telling me that he was doing the things his way to save me $ but yet always asking me to do what my ex wanted. This place is Not worth the headache or the amount of $ spent. He even asked me to get money from family and friends to keep my house and when I asked him if I should show up to court with him, he stated that he would be there to take care of my case, big mistake. The scarecrow from the wizard of oz would have done a better job.And now, not only am I on a monthly payment plan to pay the rest of my amount owing but also being charged interest. This place is a joke, my opinion of course. Good luck.

I paid this firm more than $20,000.00 for a high conflict divorce and custody battle and got basically no results. Ryan Fedoruk made me believe he could help me. He often wouldn’t respond to e-mails. I tried for 4 months for him to get me assets and told him I wanted to take it to court, he still did nothing. The last time I met with Ryan he told me maybe I could have less rules at my house and move somewhere I could get pets so the kids were more likely to want to me with me. Regarding custody and financial support he wanted me to back down on everything. At one point I contacted Nathan Fry to try to get my file on track and was met with a rude and unprofessional response basically telling me to forget about the assets as in his opinion they weren’t worth enough $ to fight for. I finally gave up and hired a new firm. If you have children involved definately do not hire a lawyer like Ryan who has no children and doesn’t understand the importance of family. Save your time, money and frustrations!

Top Intellectual Property Lawyer Alternatives in Grande Prairie

Indigenous intellectual property is a term used in national and international forums to describe intellectual property that is "collectively owned" by various Indigenous peoples, and by extension, their legal rights to protect specific such property. This property includes cultural knowledge of their groups and many aspects of their cultural heritage and knowledge, including that held in oral history. In Australia, the term Indigenous cultural and intellectual property, abbreviated as ICIP, is commonly used.
There have been various efforts made since the late 20th century towards providing some kind of legal protection for indigenous intellectual property in colonized countries, including a number of declarations made by various conventions of Indigenous peoples. The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) was created in 1970 to promote and protect intellectual property across the world by cooperating with countries as well as international organizations. The UN's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), signed by 144 countries in 2007, includes several clauses relating specifically to the protection of intellectual property of Indigenous peoples.
Disputes around indigenous property include several cases involving the Māori people of New Zealand.

Grande Prairie is home to a number of intellectual property lawyers who specialize in protecting and enforcing the rights of intellectual property owners. However, if you are looking for alternative options in Grande Prairie, here are three popular alternatives:

  • 1. Legal Consultants: Many legal consultants in Grande Prairie offer their expertise in intellectual property matters. These professionals can provide advice and guidance on various IP-related issues, including copyright, trademarks, patents, and trade secrets. They may also assist with registration, licensing, and enforcement of intellectual property rights. Legal consultants often work independently or as part of a law firm, and they can be a cost-effective alternative to hiring a full-time IP lawyer.
  • 2. Business Lawyers: Many business lawyers in Grande Prairie have experience in intellectual property matters as well. While they may not specialize solely in IP, they can offer comprehensive legal services to businesses, including advice on protecting intellectual property rights. These lawyers can help with drafting and negotiating contracts, resolving disputes, and providing general legal support to businesses. If you are running a business and need assistance with IP matters, a business lawyer can be a good alternative to hiring a dedicated IP lawyer.
  • 3. Online Legal Services: Online legal service providers have gained popularity in recent years, offering a convenient and cost-effective way to access legal assistance. These platforms connect you with licensed attorneys who specialize in intellectual property law. They can provide tailored advice, help with filing applications, and even represent you in court, all through online communication channels. Online legal services offer flexibility and affordability, making them a viable alternative for individuals and businesses seeking IP legal assistance in Grande Prairie.

When considering these alternatives, it is important to assess your specific needs and the complexity of your intellectual property matters. Consulting with multiple professionals is advised to determine the best course of action for protecting and enforcing your intellectual property rights.
