  If I could give NO stars I would. My husband got his taxes done w these guys and they have the card. He’s had nothing but problems. Letter sent saying they put money into his bank account YET he hasn’t seen it. He’s called and the woman working at H & R block even complained about these stupid cards cause they’ve had nothing but problems. I’m going to assume that H & R gets some sort of kick back for using those cards. He’s not the only person that has had problems with these cards either. FIX THE PROBLEM!!! Or don’t use the cards end of story 🤷🏻‍♀️😡

  ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE! They told my boyfriend that he was getting 3K refund on Saturday! He was there ALLL DAY! The lady said because of the wait he would get a discount but we have to wait till Sunday when the manager is in. On Sunday the manager called and told him he was no longer getting 3K and he cannot have a discount! When we told her that the woman yesterday told us he could have a refund she said “well she doesn’t have the authority to do that” and gave us NO refund! Absolutely ridiculous!!!! DO NOT DO YOUR TAXES HERE

  If I could put negative stars I would . Completely unprofessional staff . Took two weeks for someone there to get my name right . After a few of them telling me over the phone I shouldn’t have so many names and laughing and snickering at me saying my real name over the phone . In different encounters on the phone . Finally one lady today told me she would actually work on my file she told me she would call me and leave a voicemail telling me it was ready . She called when I was working so I couldn’t answer . … no voicemail left . So I called back only for a girl to tell me she couldn’t find my file and that my name wasn’t in her system. Finally I had to explain to her I was just dealing with someone from her office and that it has to be there , I hung up after so many attempts with this lady. She called me back after a few moments to tel me she found my file ! And it was ready to be picked up. I drove on a horrible weather day to Orillia from Barrie my work only for (Rachel) the clerk to tell me she could only give me my T4s back that is all she could do . She could explain anything else . I have been with H&R block for 4/5 years now this was the first time going to this office.. never again

  I submitted my taxes over 3 weeks ago, was told my file would be looked into, never heard a thing about it, I phoned and was not even apologized to. So now my taxes are likely going to be filed late. Very unprofessional and will never recommend this branch again.

  Had an appointment and drove from out of town to attend. Receptionist could not find our appointment and then told us the person we had the appointment with wasn’t working! It was their system that made the appointment. I was afraid to see what our tax return would have looked like if they can’t even keep an appointment. After leaving a negative review, I received a call from the Regional Manager. She was excellent. We ended up making an appointment at the other location on Monarch Drive and received very good service.

  I had the personal delight of working with Dee at this establishment, what was once such a difficult process was made put to ease by the delightful Dee herself.

  Highly recommend it to anyone else that can’t bare the horrific thought of taxes.

  Will never use or recommend H&R Block services again. They changed my CRA direct deposit without my consent/knowledge. I honestly feel like I was purposely deceived. Lesson learned..

  The front desk receptionist, i think her name is Colleen, was extremely rude over the phone and in person. Over the phone she spoke to me in an incredibly condescending tone. She told me one thing and upon arriving to H&R block she laughed at me and said NO I cannot do that. She then told me to sit down and completely ignored me. There was one of the workers standing nearby and she just looked shocked and didn’t say anything and the people in the waiting room did as well.. I just left. I’d rather take my business elsewhere than be treated with such disgusting attitude and disrespect from someone whose job is to be helpful and welcoming.

  Made an appointment earlier this week for Friday at 4:30pm to get mine and my wife’s taxes done. I have to drive 45 minutes and $20 in gas just to get to the office. Guess what? Not even open on Fridays! No “Ooops we made a mistake” call back. Their voicemail says, “don’t leave a message because we won’t call you back”. Would you trust them to handle your taxes when they can’t even handle an appointment book? No courtesy considered, none given.
