  Today I went to the office again and we were contacted to understand the previous point of view. The official, Chris Abbott, was very courteous and treated respectfully and listened to the client. I also received my file. Janita cul was nice and treated with respect. She explained to me about GST to understand how to deal with it and payment methods. I am also waiting for an appointment with her next week.

  I went in there today the receptionist sounded like she was the boss or whatever. There are no welcoming or greetings her behaviour feels aggressive. I submitted my tax files she did not even notify me whether I should come after some or tomorrow or wait. When I asked her she replied Should I come tomorrow or how long will it take she behaved as if she was annoyed. I’m giving two stars just because LINDA takes care of my tax file professionally and she is warm and welcoming behaviour.

  The worst experience I had ever. I have been using HR block service since 2018 and they screwed up my tax filing 2021.They did not used my correct information, they forgot to add my all T’4. As a result of this I got re-assessed by CRA, got charged more than $1500 by as a penalty. When I contacted H&R block they were rude so I emailed no one responded to my email yet , I don’t recommend this centre – 2022/12/26 !!

  I did not get any responses from H& R block, ended up paying $1920 – 2023/01/12

  I came here to file my 2021 taxes and was suprised in February 2023, not having done my taxes yet, to recieve a notification from the CRA that my tax return was assessed. After calling it turned out that the staff member I had been to for my 2021 taxes filed someone else’s 2022 taxes under my social security number. After over 6 weeks of calling the store, and coorporate to get the DM involved, they finally attempted to correct the mistake by filing my taxes. However, they didn’t contact the CRA or figure out if anything else was needed to fix their mistake so my tax return was stopped because one had already been recieved under my SSN I am now going on my 12th week trying to get their mistake fixed.

  Update: I guess the buisness’s response telling me to call the store to get the issue resolved is for appearance’s sake. I’ve been calling and contacting them throughout this whole process and they have done absolutely nothing to resolve their error. Not only am I owed a tax return that I am still waiting on but they have me on the line for someone else’s debt.

  Such nice employees and very professional atmosphere. I always get my taxes from H&R block in the mall and it never disappoints me. I got my maximum money back with their help. I would definitely recommend everyone to go get their taxes done from them. Junita is an amazing employee and she is very helpful too. Great experience.

  This year happened to be the first year I made use of the local (and perfectly located) H&R Block and I was very impressed and satisfied with my decision. First of all, the location itself was very convenient with plenty of parking and located off of two main roads in the East End. Next, their covid protocol was very clear and it was easy to socially distance within the office. The person at the desk was extremely helpful and able to answer all questions and was very clear and concise in what was needed of me. Soon after I had dropped off my documents I received a prompt phone call from my tax agent (I believe her name was Anecklet) and she was also very concise and detailed about my tax return. I couldn’t have asked for a more smooth and QUICK experience and I was surprised how easy it was. Every staff member I met was incredible friendly and accommodating. If I could I would give more then 5 stars. I will definitely recommend this service and this location to others and I will be using them again without hesitation.
