  William Standen completely redesigned our dining room, living room and kitchen into one open concept kitchen/living space. We could not be happier with results. Cassandra and Patrick were excellent to work with and truly care about the quality of work from design to finished product. Every person who worked on our project was kind, courteous and worked to a high standard. The result is a living space that we truly love and enjoy.   William Standen provided design and project management services to us. They were the company we selected to renovate our kitchen. They completely gutted our kitchen including ripping out flooring throughout most of the upper part of our house including stairs. The products and services they provided were top quality. Both Cassandra & Patrick were extremely knowledgeable about all the products & services they provided. We really felt they cared about the work they were doing at our house. The job was completed within the specified time frame. They communicated frequently with us on the status of the project and if they had any questions or concerns, they notified us quickly. We highly recommend them.

  After one of my friends used William Standen to design one of the most gorgeous houses I’ve ever seen, I knew I needed to use them for a remodel master bathroom/ closet project in my house. I live in southeast Michigan but Cassandra and Alannah made an incredible custom design with all virtual online communications. They were very patient and accommodating. It was an extremely painless process and highly recommend them.

  William Standen Co did a complete re-design of our kitchen, as well as installing new flooring in our family room, hallways and main floor bathroom. Our new kitchen design is stunning and has visually opened up our whole main floor, despite the fact that no walls were removed. There is excellent flow, the room is bright and welcoming, and while contemporary, blends in beautifully with the rest of our more traditional home. The ceiling design, lighting, quartz countertops, new upholstered banquette, stainless steel appliances, porcelain tile and hardwood flooring are all beautiful.

  Cassandra and Patrick are outstanding professionals who have developed an amazing team. They are all professional, personable, highly skilled and motivated, and passionate about their work. They genuinely shared in our excitement as the project came together, and they all worked diligently to ensure the project was completed according to the scheduled timeline. Our designer, Alannah and our construction manager, Paul, were both very attentive to our every question and need, and were resourceful and creative in design solutions. Bob and Alex did an amazing job on our flooring and tiling, and Ryan and Dale did excellent work as well. The electricians, plumbers and painters that worked with the team, were all friendly, polite and did a terrific job.

  Thank you to the entire team for your dedication to our project. You far exceeded our expectations and we love every aspect of our new space.

  We recently purchased a freezer from William Standen Co. The advices given when looking at different models was extremely professional and helpful. When delivered, their employees Ryan and Paul were again extremely professional and went above and beyond to help remove the old freezer from the basement without hesitation.   I had a whole house to design: remodeling from floor to ceiling. For someone who has never done more than order chain-store sofas, this was a daunting assignment. Lauren went far beyond my expectations, not only in designing every inch of my new home, but in managing the entire project and keeping my anxiety in check, no small achievement in itself.

  In the first weeks, LJ Design Co.took measurements of everything and started visualizing the project right away. Simultaneously, she got a thorough sense of both my design aesthetic and budget, and in a matter of weeks, provided options for wall removal with layouts, cabinets, paint and fixtures. And soon after that, she presented me with the house design for the renovation with 3D rendering, so I could see the exact changes to the floor plan, including light and receptacle placement, tile and stone layout. She also provided a wide array of selection possibilities for every room, from lighting, plumbing fixtures, to chairs. And she included budget items, too, so I could best decide how to most efficiently spend my money.

  Considering all the great work Lauren did, and how smoothly she did it, it seemed like I’d hired a much larger company. LJ Design Co is either amazingly efficient or she somehow adapted to surviving on two hours sleep a night. The bottom line, of course, is my home, which is the manifestation of everything I could’ve possibly desired. Each room feels comfortable and organic. LJ Design Co. not only saved me an incredible amount of time, she designed a home more attractive and stylish than I could have imagined. Lauren is both extremely talented and diligent, and I’m forever grateful to her.
