  While they did a good job remediating mold in our home, they were also supposed to replace the fan in our bathroom to help ensure that the mold doesn’t come back in that room. That was in May, and now it’s October and we still don’t have a new fan. In addition we have tried many, many times to contact the company to ask about the fan, but they don’t answer the phone, call us back, or respond to emails.

  So pleased that we were referred to MasterTech after recent flooding. Austin knows his stuff and got in there promptly to dry us out with high tech equipment and his polite, efficient team to do the tear-out. We were confident that he destroyed the mold that had invaded behind the drywall. We had no idea it was as bad as it was. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again, but hopefully will never have the need!

  Before we bought our home, we had an inspection done and found that the attic rafters had a fair amount of mold on them. When the results came back from the lab, we knew that with my wife’s breathing issues we would not be able to live in the house without it being remediated. Once I contacted Chance with Mastertech, I knew that we had found someone that truly understood what he was doing and why. I was impressed with is knowledge and professionalism. He set up an appointment with us, did his inspection confirming the mold problem, and provided us with a detailed explanation of what he and his company would do for us. Not only would they take care of the mold, they would also fix the lack of ventilation in the attic to prevent future problems. His crew arrived as promised, were very polite and professional and completed the work in the amount of time they promised for the amount they quoted. There were a few delays in getting the attic fan I wanted (solar/electric) because of manufacturing delays. Chance communicated with me about the delays and they got it done as soon as they got the fan from the manufacturer. We are very pleased with Mastertech and would recommend this company to anyone.   I contacted MasterTech Environmental after a family emergency involving a highly distressed property with a horrible roach infestation. We needed everything to be removed from the fully-furnished condo, including wall-to-wall carpeting and plenty of heavy furniture. Austin was quick to respond to both texts and email and accommodating to our schedules and requests. He and his crew were able to get everything out and have the condo fully cleaned and sanitized in a week. They did an incredibly thorough job and saved me a lot of time and what was left of my sanity. My family and I are incredibly grateful for this service and I cannot recommend MasterTech Environmental enough!

  Our home recently flooded with 8 inches of water throughout the home. Austin came highly recommended by a neighbor and we are happy we called him. Austin met with us the same day I called. He was very thorough, professional and answered all of our questions. He also recommended we have a storage unit placed on sight to store our belongings in while they renovated. He went above and beyond to take care in double checking with us on personal items that we may have overlooked in wanting thrown out. He and his crew were very knowledgeable in what needed to be torn out, mold remediation and the drying process. I would highly recommend Austin and his crew if you ever have the need.

  Excellent service the same day! They encapsulated our crawl space this past spring. Excellent job. I called today to report higher than normal humidity levels and they came the same day and found and corrected the problem. Very professional and I recommend ESS!!

  My experience with ESS was wonderful. They inspected my crawl space in September 2017 and provided an extensive, 12-page report detailing the deficiencies found. The report included color photos and offered several solutions to correct the moisture problems I was having. However, I was unable to have the work performed at that time due to other obligations.

  Over a year later I was ready to move and contacted them. After a quick re-inspection, they honored the price from 2017 and scheduled the work. The crew encountered quite a number of obstacles, including rats, snakes and even bats, but battled through and got everything finished on schedule. My project coordinator, Cara Calhoun, kept me fully informed during the entire process. I’ve been in the construction industry for over 30 years and rarely have I seen anyone who possesses such a high level of communication skills and professionalism. She is to be commended.

  We’ve been using ESS for four years. They take care of the dehumidification of our crawlspace. They stand behind their work and equipment (did so in 2017 when dehumidifier went down), and don’t try to up sell. The same people, such as Brenda, Cody, Zack seem to be there every year for annual inspection and genuine/helpful. Recently dehumidifier tripped the breaker and they helped me trouble shoot to fix and double checked things.

  ESS gave a fair and thorough estimate after Brannon inspected the property. We delayed having the work completed nearly a year due to a major renovation that took much longer than anticipated. ESS honored the original estimate, gave us options for how to complete the project, and on short notice put a dehumidifier in early due to high humidity levels near the end of summer. The project was then completed as scheduled by very respectful workers who kept us informed along the way and made sure the property was cleaned up after the work. The encapsulation system, with wireless monitor, is working as promised by ESS. ESS was one of the best company’s in SC we have worked with related to this major renovation. Thanks, Dan
