Shopping at Kroger is a convenient and enjoyable experience. To make the most out of your trip, here are some guidelines to follow:
- Create a shopping list: Before heading to Kroger, take some time to create a list of the items you need. This will help you stay organized and ensure you don’t forget anything important.
- Plan your visit: Choose a time to shop when the store is less crowded. This will make your shopping experience more comfortable and also allow you to move through the aisles more efficiently.
- Bring your reusable bags: Kroger encourages customers to bring their own bags for groceries. Not only is this eco-friendly, but it can also save you a small fee for using their plastic bags.
- Use Kroger’s loyalty program: Sign up for Kroger’s loyalty program, such as their Kroger Plus Card, to take advantage of exclusive discounts and offers. This will help you save money on your grocery bill.
- Check for digital coupons: Kroger offers digital coupons that you can load onto your loyalty card. Be sure to check their website or app before shopping to see if there are any coupons applicable to your shopping list.
- Explore Kroger’s store brands: Kroger offers a wide range of high-quality store brands at affordable prices. Don’t hesitate to try their products, as they can often be a great value compared to name brands.
- Pay attention to sales: Kroger frequently offers sales and promotions on various items. Keep an eye out for these deals while shopping, and consider stocking up on items you often use when they are on sale.
- Check expiration dates: When selecting fresh produce, dairy products, or meat, always check the expiration dates to ensure you are purchasing the freshest items possible.
- Shop the perimeter first: The perimeter of Kroger’s store is where you’ll find fresh produce, meat, dairy, and bakery items. Start your shopping trip by browsing around these areas before moving to the inner aisles and frozen sections.
By following these guidelines, you’ll be able to shop at Kroger efficiently and make the most out of your grocery shopping experience. Happy shopping!

Long time Kroger shopper here…first time in this location (Waverly Ohio)..and must say, after parking my car a long distance away, I have difficulty walking, I soon realized as to why I had to park at such a distance…because Krogers took all the front parking spots, excessively I might add, and marked them for ” kroger pick-up” only..sad, it’s unwelcoming. Also very sad, a store this size without a butcher counter, looks more like a Walmart.
Great experience as always, except the deli was closed for break. Deli is closed a lot the times I shop. Bagger, Brayden and cashier, Anthony were courteous and helpful.
No parking , the click list parking takes up so much and the handicap is too many not in use. the police patrol so often which you would think is nice but they try to intimidate people and it runs people away . Park then watch how many crackheads decide not to shop . Krogers is loosing big business. Walmart is the place to go
I work here and I think we do a good job
