  1. My former chiropractor retired and I was referred to Zen. I appreciated the intake survey via online prior to my visit and the attention to detail as well as information during my first visit. I learned so much about my posture, how to stand in line with my center, proper technique for getting out of bed (as I recently strained my back muscles), and certain stretches to help with my upper and lower back.   3. I recommend Dr. Zen and his team for anyone with chronic pain.

    I am a retired veteran and have been living with chronic pain for many years. I’ve been prescribed probably every medication available for my conditions with little to no relief. I’ve been through physical therapy and other chiropractors, but still, no relief like I experienced after just 1 visit to Zen Health Center.

    Excellent service, starting from the phone call to schedule my initial visit, all the way until I walked out of the center. I stepped into a very welcoming, calm, and relaxing environment, then was greeted by a pleasant lady with a warm smile who explained exactly where to sign and what it was for, and I didn’t have to wait long to be seen. Dr. Zen walked out to introduce himself and took me back to begin the visit. He sat me down and talked me through every step. He examined me and explained every thing he was doing in a way I could understand. Dr. Zen does everything hands on to show what causes what pain or limited movement. He had me do movements and showed my limitations before the adjustment and showed me the improved changes after the adjustment. He sent me home with some stretches and exercises to do, but demonstrated them on me and had me do them properly with him first. My previous chiropractor just gave me a handout with exercises/stretches to do but didn’t give me a walk through to ensure it would be properly executed on my own.

    After my adjustment, I had a full body massage. I let her know it was my 1st experience getting a massage so she walked me through each step and made sure to not be too rough for my 1st visit. It was one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating experiences I’ve had. She isn’t too chatty and is very professional.

    I walked out of the center feeling like a brand new person. Thank you, Dr. Zen and his team. I am looking forward to my next visit.

  4. This was my first chiropractic appointment and I was super satisfied with my experience. Dr. Zen and the front desk got my paper work in order efficiently. I worked with Dr. Bautista and he did a great job explaining his process with me before, throughout, and after the appointment. I went in feeling very informed and listened to. After the hot pads, realignment throughout my back and neck, I immediately felt a sense of release and relief from tension, stress, and anxiety. I am a PhD student and I spend a lot of time in front of a computer. I’ve been living with this pain for several years and that is why I appreciate this process. I hope to come
    back for a next visit to help reverse years of pain due to work.

  5. Since the unexpected retirement of my former chiropractor. I’m glad that I found Zen Chiropractic and Dr. Zen. Not only is Dr. Zen very knowledgeable about everything that has to do with the human body, but he has the inner calm which in turn calms me down. He is sincerely interested in correcting my back problems and help me immensely. I highly recommend him. An extra added plus is the staff that supports Dr. Zen. They are all friendly and very helpful.

    Dr. Luke is incredible and we’re so happy to have him as a part of our island ohana!! At the start of my third trimester, I had severe upper back pain, and neither I nor my husband knew what to do. After suffering for a couple days, we looked up a chiropractor near us and read all the wonderful reviews about Dr. Luke. Let me tell you, they are all absolutely true!! We called him first thing in the morning and he was able to see me within a few minutes. What a relief! Upon arrival, Dr. Luke warmly welcomed us in his beautiful space, gave me an evaluation and was able to alleviate my back pain while educating my husband and I on the benefits of having periodic adjustments during our first pregnancy. It was his genuine kindness, professionalism, and passion for helping others that made us feel comfortable committing to a treatment plan which took us all the way to the birth of our baby girl!

    I looked forward to every visit with Dr. Luke as the adjustments gave me immense relief. I also believe that the regular treatments contributed to my relatively short and successful labor.

    Moreover Dr. Luke quickly became an incredible support system during my last two months of pregnancy when my husband was unexpectedly assigned to work off island to return just two weeks before our expected due date. Being a new dad himself, Dr. Luke was very sympathetic to our situation. He increased my sessions from 2 times a week to 3 times a week. Receiving frequent treatments was a great relief for me in the last few weeks of my pregnancy and it gave my husband peace of mind to know I was in good hands. As all of our family lives on the mainland, it was comforting to have a care provider who was willing to listen to my questions and concerns during this stressful time.

    We plan to continue seeing Dr. Luke for more chiropractic adjustments!

    After enduring a few days of extreme lower back pain, I finally decided it was time to visit a chiropractor. What a blessing I was given! First of all, I was very impressed that Dr. Luke himself answered my phone call and I was so grateful he squeezed me in between appointments the very next day. The positive vibes I had over the phone were acknowledged right away just as I entered his office, which is clean and calming, and he greeted me as if we had already known each other. By the middle of my consult, I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Luke is amazing! He has been given a special gift — a gift of healing with his hands. He is very knowledgeable, caring and super friendly! My back pain was relieved within my first few visits. Now he’s working on my “crooked” neck and back.
    I will be highly recommending everyone I know to Dr. Luke if they are in need of a chiropractor. He is a God-send!

    My first time with Dr. Luke and man let me tell you how good his customer service was to not just me but my husband and sister in law as well. Dr. Luke’s Office is clean, spacious and makes you feel like home. Professional wise, Dr. Luke did an amazing job on my X-rays and explaining everything to me and also my adjustment.     Dr. Luke was so welcoming and super friendly. It was my first time ever visiting a chiropractor and he helped relieve my back pain and neck pain.     Dr. Luke is excellent. I was having bad lower back pain for the first time and was worried because my family has a history of sciatica issues. Dr. Luke was quick, clear, and thorough in identifying what was causing my back pain and alleviated my concerns very quickly. I was able to immediately resume research field work that involved hiking on various terrain, and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without Dr. Luke’s help. My back has felt so much better.     I’ve been to a few chiropractors on island and this place blows everyone out of the water! The office is clean and tidy (not to mention the beautiful views). The front staff is sweet and willing to work with you and the doctors are FANTASTIC! I love that they were able to give me an x-ray on my first visit and look over everything with me right then and there. The adjustments done were fantastic and I felt very supported after my first visit with a plan of action and scheduled approach to helping me mend my lower back injury. 10000/10

    Dr. Smith and staff are wonderful. I’ve had chronic low back pain for many years and this is the one facility where they have been able to help me manage my lower back symptoms via Spinal Decompression. Once of the most effective treatment for my lumbar pain. I can’t thank these guys enough. A+++

    Dr. Jason and Tu were awesome. I came in feeling like a man in his mid 50’s and left feeling like a man in his early 30’s. Great job with the front desk folks as well. Great assistance and explanations as what services are covered and frequency I can come. I was very impressed. Only bad thing would be they don’t validate parking. That’s ok, I’m definitely coming back!

    These guys are awesome! The staff is super friendly and remembers everyone by name. They are funny, kind, and make each visit comfortable.

    Also, I’ve been feeling much better ever since I started going. Between the adjustments and massage therapy, my body has been in such good condition that I’ve really been able to step up my training in the gym.

    Working at a gym really does a number on the body, but thanks to these amazing people I’m feeling great.

    My PCP referred me to this great team of real people, that are here to listen and help you heal. I found that they have a variety of treatments (from manual massage, soft tissue and traditional chiropractic adjustments, to electric stimulation and massage chairs) available to each patient, so patient and doctor can agree on a design for the best path forward. They also took my car insurance claim since my injury was due to an accident- that can be hard to find in Hawaii! Recommend: YES! Wishing you all the best.
