  1. During a visit to Hoboken, we came here for brunch on our friend’s recommendation. I loved the history and the beauty of the building, as well as the French flare to the menu. I ordered a hot chocolate and was impressed that it came in a mini pitcher that I was able to get a little more than two mugs out of! The croque madame, French toast, and pancakes were good. The menu did say that the French toast was supposed to come with a strawberry sauce, and I also asked for the strawberry sauce for my pancakes, but it was purple and tasted more like a blueberry sauce. I also ordered bacon with my pancakes, and it was thick cut and tasty. The service was good.

  2. Really great French food. they don’t have their brunch menu online. It was so busy during brunch! I got an omelette with French style potatoes and it was AMAZING! The eggs were fluffy and potatoes well seasoned and crispy. My friend got the French toast. He’s a bit of a picky eater but he loved it too. Very beautiful decorated inside much like a French palace. The prices weren’t too steep and definitely worth the quality of food. They have many options including vegetarian friendly ones. There’s also a bar inside. Would love to go back but will probably make a reservation next time because there seems to always be a line for brunch.

  3. Ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich; I ate so much I feel like I’m gonna die, but at least I’ll die happy. Hands down the best steak sandwich/lunch I’ve ever had. Had to eat it 20 min after it was delivered but even still, it was amazing. Bread held up well and was the perfect texture, mozz was gooey, onion rings were still crunchy and provided sweetness, and that thin sliced prime rib was so juicy and flavorful. Super well balanced. And the fries! So good, thin and still crisp, although a little heavy on the salt. $20 well spent, but I do recommend either splitting with someone or getting the 1/2 sandwich 1/2 salad option. Definitely stopping by in person.

  4. Brunch was gooood, really happy they took us here.
Burger was among the most juicy I ever tried. Fries not that special though.

    Good cappuccino and excellent service.
Really like the refined ambiance , bit too hot but not a big deal.
    Will be back!

  5. Delicious grilled chicken sandwiches! Super flavorful. Each ingredient was well prepped and delicious on its own and perfectly balanced together. The fries were also great. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful.

Good food, we went as a family of 3 and had brunch. It was enjoyable both food and drinks. The dishes “Hen in the Garden” a vegetarian dish, kids pancake, apple juice, Salmon Benedict, Bloody Mary and brunch potatoes where good. The quantity was sufficient and not too much. The service was good and we where taken care of well. We got seating indoor as it was full outside.

Having brunch at Amelia’s was a very pleasant experience – the outdoor structure is very beautifully done. The food was great and the staff was very hospitable. The Benedict was excellent (crunchy on the outside, creamy on the inside), the pancakes were sumptuous, the spinach and tomato omelette was good (the veggies weren’t mixed with the egg batter, so were lightly cooked). Would highly recommend if you’re in the area!

My bestie and I dined at Amelia’s for her birthday brunch. We did the double mimosas which were great. She ordered the Tour of Amelia Brunch Special and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the lobster hash and ordered waffles as well. Both were delicious. I literally started doing my Winnie the Pooh wiggle when I took my first bite of the lobster hash. So darn good! My only complaint was the Bloody Mary I tried. I love, love, love a good Bloody Mary and order one whenever its on a menu. I got the Surf and Turf Bloody Mary and it was not good at all. I mean it was absolutely awful which was shocking because they had such an extensive BM list that I figured they had to be great. I tried adding salt and hot sauce to fix it and still ended up leaving my $24 BM on the table. Other than that everything was great. The service, mimosas, the food all were enjoyable. We are already making plans to return soon.

We got to try out their new menu for dinner on Mother’s Day. The complimentary bread and chickpea mash (served in a pilón so you could mash it yourself, very fun) were delicious, as were the calamari, mussels, salmon, foraged mushroom salad, Chilean sea bass, and orange cheesecake. Honestly very impressed with the quality and freshness of food! I was a bit hesitant to try this spot out since it seems to be mainly known for its brunch service but the dinner was truly phenomenal. There wasn’t a single item we sampled that we disliked and the service was great so we will definitely be dining here again. I will say, we ended up choosing to dine outside instead of indoors, as it was pretty noisy indoors with the kitchen front and center, but that’s my only complaint.

Long overdue that I give this review, Amelia bistro is a hidden gem of the jersey city waterfront. Great food & drinks, perfect for summer or fall. Right now they’re running a $5 happy hour special on appetizers & drinks from 3pm til closing for Oct, don’t miss it! The owner Frank is nice & very welcoming to everyone.

This place is top notch. The dishes are absolutely amazing and service was great. Best bone marrow I’ve ever had. The ribeye was better than I’ve had at steakhouses. If you’re going to go oysters, go for the dressed up one.. amazing. Gnocchi with ricotta was my favorite. Everyone at the table was ranting and raving about their cocktails as well. Madame crushed it…

If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience in New Jersey, look no further than Madame. From the moment you walk in, you’re transported to a world of elegance and sophistication. My first impression of Madame was simply “wow.” Not only was the decor stunning, but I was also blown away by the attention to detail in everything from the place settings to the cocktails. Speaking of cocktails, let’s talk about the “kiss in my drink.” This was a unique and unexpected touch that really set the tone for the meal. It was clear from the start that Madame was not your average restaurant, but rather a place where every detail was carefully thought out to create a memorable experience. Moving on to the food, I have to say that the oysters were some of the best I’ve ever had. They were fresh, perfectly shucked, and served with a delicious mignonette sauce. Our mains were also outstanding – I particularly enjoyed the lobster which was cooked to perfection and accompanied by a flavorful butter. And despite already being quite full, we couldn’t resist ordering four desserts for three people. Each one was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. Overall, I highly recommend Madame for anyone looking for a special night out. The attention to detail, quality of food, and exceptional service make it a standout in the New Jersey dining scene.

My first time in the new Madams – love the ambiance, menu is interesting and tasty – fusion cuisine with French influences, great wine list and reasonably priced cocktails (which we didn’t try this time…). The service was phenomenal – attentive and concise. We will definitely be back!

The new Madame is outstanding! Service was incredible (our server Amanda was perfection), the cocktails were delicious, and the environment is warm and welcoming. The food was ridiculously good– the bone marrow, escargot, and profiteroles are a must try. They did such an amazing job making this restaurant modern and upscale. Definitely visit here!

Nice environment and friendly staff. Service wasn’t great during brunch and portions were really really small .I left hungry. A bit disappointing as dinner once was way better and tasty, with good portions and service. Wouldn’t repeat for brunch for sure. But I would go again for dinner.
