What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. This office is always a delight to go to. Dr. Golden is awesome with both adults and children. My son is 9 and he has no problem sitting and enjoying getting his teeth done. From the front desk to the back, this office is a whole vibe!! I definitely recommend.

  2. Today was my first time to this Dental office and it was still very simple . All staff were very helpful and professional. And I was in and out of the building really fast for getting a wisdom tooth pulled. Also very clean and sanitary. I would definitely recommend this dental office to others. and would like to thank the staff for their great service.

  3. Dr. Sumera Khalid is such a blessing to have as a dentist. I really appreciate her. She looks out for her patients and really cares about them. When she was working on my teeth she took her time and did not rush. I’ve had a chipped front tooth for about 4 years and every dentist that I saw just cleaned my teeth and sent me on my way. None of them ever asked me if I wanted my tooth fixed or my fillings replaced. Dr. Khalid actually fixed my chipped tooth and replaced my fillings that were old. I was so grateful for how she made my teeth look. I would recommend Dr. Khalid for anyone who wants their smile to be bright and healthy.

  4. The dentist is very thorough and I like the atmosphere
I was completely comfortable during my visit
    Very clean facility as well.

  5. I like this Dental office. Everyone there seems to be happy to be there, everytime I come. It is a joy to see people working and smiling as if the really enjoy their job.The office is clean & orderly. Dr. Golden is very thorough when explaining. She seems to be a very pleasant , knowledgeable and gentle doctor as well as the Dental assistants. Front office staff are always very helpful whenever I have questions for them. Great staff at this location. I can’t say anything adverse about this office or staff! Thank you for caring about my needs and fulfilling them.

This place definitely earns their high rating. I came in for the first time with a cracked wisdom tooth that was causing a lot of pain and needed to be removed. Dr. Harden performed the extraction and it was truly a PAINLESS experience. I can’t say enough how impressed I was. Also, the ladies who work the front are so kind and patient. My partner has anxiety around dentists and she said they were very comforting during her cleaning. If you need a dentist I can’t recommend My Detroit Dental highly enough!

I was more than pleased with my experience today . Dr Harden is very gentle . He also explains your dental issues in a way that you can understand along with possible solutions. The staff are all very professional and kind . I wish I knew of this dental office 10 years ago . Great team

A warm friendly vibe upon entry. I was greeted promptly and intake began right away, thanks to them forwarding my new patient papers electronically. Overhead music was comfortable and my process till the end was courteous and quick. Definitely will recommend!

Very friendly environment, before I had arrived my cousin had already told me they were a good dental office and the staff were great, and with the past experiences I’ve had she was right they are better than every dental office I’ve visited in Michigan including Lakeside , Michigan Implants, and a few more places I can name where I have had horrible experiences. I can’t wait to see the final outcome. Finally excited.

The staff is very pleasant and helpful. My dad was a patient, he passed in November 2021, Dr Harden and staff came and paid respect at the funeral home. Very thankful for that ❤

The whole staff at Gentle Dental was professional, kind, polite and made me very comfortable as a new patient! The earliest appointment is at 7:30am and when I say that they get you in and out, they do it super fast without making you feel rushed!!!! Great service!!! I’m definitely looking forward to my next appointment!!!👍🏽

I have been coming here about a year. At my last appointment, a routine check-up, I was there for 3.5 hours and was never seen by the dentist. I had mentioned what I suspected to be a cavity, and they told me the doctor would see me shortly, but he never came by and they discharged me. They made an appointment for the following month to “have my front teeth filed down.” I never mentioned nor requested that. I arrived at the appointment this morning before any of the receptionists and was told the dentist is not in, and was scheduled out for another 6 weeks from now. I understand emergencies happen, but I’ve has this appointment 5 weeks and at this point need to seek a new dentist. I have no idea where these positive reviews are coming from. There is one younger male hygienist with long locs who is incredibly sweet and professional, but the rest of the staff is unprofessional and seems to not want to be there, including the dentist.

Honestly the receptionist has terrible customer service skills. Constantly sitting and saying speak up when asking for patient information instead of moving closer so she can hear and the patients aint gotta raise their voice. Everytime i called someone answers with an attitude in their tone. I strongly advise finding staff with a better customer service attitude

I’ve never had this type of experience before at a dentist office. I was told 2 of my teeth has to get pulled. I was given X-rays and everything. I told them I have been having pain n sensitivity. They scheduled me 2 months from today just to get them pulled. The cleaning that I got was by far the worst cleaning I’ve ever gotten. The dentist was rude. He’s lucky god has been working on me or things could’ve went south. His assistant was very sweet though and so was the woman that cleaned my teeth. She just didn’t do a good job at all. I think I’m going to try to find somewhere else to go. I already had to wait 2 months to even get an appointment for today, when I told the staff it was an emergency and they was very rude by trying to rush me off the phone when I spoke to someone about coming in because it was an emergency. I Should’ve known not to trust a dentist office on gratiot in the middle of the hood. Smh, I think I’ll be going back to doctor golden.

This location and the grand river location seems to be the worse. I arrived here for my clients first appointment at 1025am. I completed her paperwork and she was then told someone would be calling her shortly. After waiting close to 30-40 minutes i asked the receptionist how much longer, they say it’s one ahead of her. Now my question is how if she had a 1030 appointment and it’s well almost 12pm? So around 1150am she’s called to the back. At 1238pm she comes to let me know that she has only had he e rays done and it’s still one ahead of her for a cleaning. I don’t understand how we’ve been here since this morning and their just telling me their behind because the dentist just arrived at 12. Why schedule someone at 1030am if you knew there would be a wait. I’m deeply disappointed and will not be bringing my client back here.
