  1. My grandchildren have been going here for about 7 months and they have learn a lot from the coaches. They don’t just teach self defense. They teach how to be helpful in the community. How to be kind to others. How to be a leader. My granddaughter made me stop the car so she can get out and help an older woman put her bags in the trunk of her car. Made me so proud .   2. Our second grader was having a rough time focusing and following directions at school, so we looked into various extracurricular activities to give him an outlet. After a one-on-one tryout and a full class tryout, we enrolled him at CMA. Almost a year and a half later, we now have two kiddos taking classes here and we recommend CMA to friends all the time. The coaches are phenomenal. Every coach is attentive, patient, and understanding of individual students’ needs. They understand that each student learns in different ways, and they really take the time to make sure each student grasps the concept they’re teaching. There are so many valuable life lessons taught here. Aside from the obvious self-defense skills gained in each class, my kids have developed confidence, discipline, respect, coping mechanisms, and so many more skills that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.

  3. OMG! This was EVERYTHING we were looking for in an academy. Discipline, FUN for your child, focus, self control, TEAM WORK, cheerfulness, and so much more. The MMA academy is backed by a psychologists who developed the program to actually fit your child’s development glide-path. Imagine having instructors who understand the fundamentals of teaching children, but also have the skills and knowledge to teach them self defense. The carrot and not the stick method works very well when teaching while making the learning process fun. This academy is everything you’re looking for; especially when it comes to your child. My wife and I have major trust issues when it comes to our child, at this place we were able to relax and let our guard down. Come check this place out. You will not be ashamed. The educational process supersedes any other MMA locations. They even focus on a word of the month…so cool!

  4. Amazing space! My son felt like part of the team right away. This place is so inclusive to everyone and the instructors have such a wonderful combination of patience and sense of humor. I feel so lucky that his foray into martial arts has been so positive.

If you live in Columbus Ga or are visiting I recommend this academy. We have one of best black belts in the city. Professor Jason’s experience is unmatched and with his charisma, this Brazilian Jiujitsu school welcomes you with open arms. Above all it is a great community of people.     Jiujitsu Columbus (AKA Blind Fury) is an exceptional place to work out. I have seen a huge improvement in my son. He has lost weight, improved his coordination, seems to be stronger, and has a more positive outlook on life.     My little brother (11) and I (24) started training here in March of this year, and the instructors are phenomenal. Professor Jason, and Coach Rob do an excellent job on teaching the kids jiu-jitsu, and life lessons. The instructors here really go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcomed.

    I love blind fury. By far the best instructions I’ve ever received. Im dyslexic and they explain things in a way that I can understand . The owners are very polite and approachable. I like that they give important advice that is practical. Thanks

    The people and the culture really make this school. They train hard and show respect toward each other, at all belt levels. They have black belt instructors at almost every class, and I’ve never lacked a drilling partner who will help me get better. Great instruction, great people, great culture.

    Amazing community of people. The coaches are kind and the environment is really pressure free. The best way to describe it is that it takes a village to raise a fighter and this is definitely a good tribe to be in. They have MMA, Boxing, BJJ, kickboxing and Muay Thai all under one roof. Classes for all ages.

    Dropped in for a boxing class, had a great time and felt like I got a killer workout. I ended up training at a different gym due to scheduling conflicts but I look forward to dropping in here again when I get the chance. Would definitely recommend.
