  1. Nice setting in the center of Altstadt Magdeburg. Professional staff that are accommodating as well. Got the sushi for two and a fried banana for dessert. The banana has a coconut ice cream which was delicious!

  2. We went here as a group final business dinner based on the recommendation of one of our managers and surely didn’t disappoint. The food was yummy, friendly service and prices are reasonable. I suggest you try the curry dishes. Their wines are nice too. Overall, I will be back in case I was In Magdeburg again.

    Excellent Japanese restaurant located in one of Magdeburgs landmarks. We had a great dining experience. The food had a positively unique taste and good presentation. Portions were good. I was not convinced 100% by some dishes. It surely wasn’t bad but I had expected a bit more considering the elevated price. But I do recommend the (vegan) sushi!

    Nice ambient. Service is ok and fast. A good selection of fresh drinks. The food is generally tasty and the choice is great. However, the duck was medium-rare, which might be ok for some guests, but not for me. Unfortunately I noticed too late. My friend had the same dish and the duck was well done. When I complained that half of the meat was practically raw, the waiter said he is going to speak to the manager. Unfortunately, he never came back nor did they do something to make me feel better. We spent 110 euros there. This is quite disappointing. A really good restaurant would have find a small compensation. It was a Wednesday evening so it was not very busy anyway.

    Ambience is stunning as well as the presentation of the food. Service was ok considering it was not busy at all at lunch time. They put up a picture in the area that was not used at the time. Might have been nice to do that outside of service hours. Portions are incredibly small for the high price. The flambéed salmon that came on top (why though? hard to eat that way) of the sushi rolls had a really unpleasant torch taste. Especially with the rather fat salmon, a blowtorch, if used, isn’t a good idea. Definitely had flambéed salmon sushi at a lower price point with much higher level of execution. Other basic sushi was nice, especially the quality of the fish, but also doesn’t justify the price. Drinks were alright. Two identical orders, one rather sweet, the other a bit on the sour side. A bit more consistency would be nice. Overall the experience was good, but not what you’d expect from a restaurant that wants to operate on a rather high level.

    I’ve rarely been so bummed between the perception and reality of a place. This restaurant sounded great when I looked online and they were so booked and crowded that it was obviously popular. Everything on the menu sounded entirely delicious and it was hard to make a choice. Then the food and drinks came and they were a complete let down. Our entire party of 4 was surprised by how some key element was missing from each of our dishes. The sushi was too much (the flavors melded until nothing was definable). The chicken in the udon was incredible, but the noodles were very meh and not hot. The teriyaki sauce was extremely watery and lacked any flavor but sweetness. The chicken in the pepper chicken dish was so dry it was almost inedible. In the end, we left unsatisfied and also somewhat hungry as the portions were small for the really high price tag. After two drinks and food for each person, we paid ~50 euros each.

    Lovely fusion restaurant – we did not go in expecting a 100% authentic Asian kitchen, and were satisfied. Sushi was great and the service was friendly. We arrived without a reservation as we were just traveling through, and they freed up a table for us. I recommend this place.

    For the love of God, try number 24!! All of the vegetables they use taste fresh, which is a big plus. The homemade ice teas and Vietnamese coffee are also noteworthy. It’s a great little place for a quick meal.
