What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Great place to buy a Christmas tree! Prices were lower than other big box stores. Joey was so helpful last Sunday. Helping with pricing, taking it up to the front, preparing the tree and loading it in our car out in the parking lot. Very stress-free experience, and one of the best attitudes I have seen in a store in a long time. Thanks so much!

  2. Online order. After 2 hours, no progress made on order. I drove to the store….talked to an associate in online orders and he said “oh yeah, it will be ready by tonight”. He could not provide me with a time. Mind you ..the order is PAID FOR! I asked if I went and got the product off the shelf and brought it to the front, if that would be ok. He said yes….I went down the aisle, the product is locked up of course. I asked a different associate that was walking down the aisle for assistance. She said she would find someone with a key. I waited 10 minutes and saw her walk past the aisle once with her head down. I went back to the front and not one associate asked me if I needed help. The first associate I spoke with saw me, recognized me, and said nothing!
INFURIATING!!! I need this product for a job tomorrow. Plus there were at least 5 associates standing around talking in the Returns/Online/ Customer Service department….they do NOT CARE about the paying customers, obviously!

  3. Every single time I come to Home Depot to pick up an online order, they either don’t give me everything I order, or tell me they can’t find it or don’t have it, forcing me to make multiple trips. Usually, I can find someone who is nice about it though. However, today was the last straw. After returning for a 3rd time to pick up fencing (the first time they stated they didn’t have anything, second they didn’t have anyone to help me move it into the truck even though this was expressly promised after I left the first time) I asked for an order that I received an email was delivered yesterday. The dismissive attitude I received from both people – verbally and physically (the guy started walking away, the woman was rude and defensive) was not only unhelpful because there was no attempt made to help me, but also careless because the person did not bother to look for the package before stating there was nothing there. It wasn’t until I called my spouse for the email confirmation of delivery did he look around and immediately, within a few seconds, spot the order. Up until this point at Home Depot I’ve been racially profiled for stealing an entire refrigerator (I walked out with my spouse who paid for it and I was stopped to show a receipt) at the Coors NW location, and had subpar interactions with service staff. I’m tired. Go to Lowe’s even if it’s sometimes pricier.

  4. I go there because I have to. Nothing remarkable about this location other than the amount of cops and security. Their selection on items seems rather random and lack variety. The amount of times I’ve been in here and had quality customer service is small in comparison. Half the time I’ve had friendly, helpful assistance the other complete opposite. You have to go in because calling you will never get accurate information whether it be product availability, or correct price info. Oh well, they are in a convenient location and if I really don’t like it I go to other stores carrying the same merch.

  5. Maryette was very helpful and friendly in helping us to place an order, on “will call”, for hot water heater to be picked up by TLC workers the next day. She stayed with us all the way through the process including getting the veterans deduction. We appreciated all her kind help.

4/10 I received the email that my order was ready for pickup 4/11 I drove to the store and arrived around 4pm. The sign said I did not need the app to check in, that I could do it online. When I went to the website on my phone, it said I had to download the app. Okay. I downloaded the app and signed in. When I tried to check-in it gave me errors over and over. I finally called the store and the helpful lady on the line checked me in on her side. When she confirmed what I was picking up (standing workbench), she told me it would take 10-15 minutes for them to grab the order. That timeline was completely understandable. Some time goes by and several other people show up to the curbside pickup area. A lady brought out someone else’s order after they arrived about 20 minutes after I did. I flagged her down to ask if she could check on the status of my order. She said she would. More time goes by…more people come and go with their curbside orders. The lady comes back out and lets me know it’ll be another 5-10 minutes. After about 30 additional minutes I call the store to request an update. They put me on hold for 10 minutes and no one ever came back to the phone. Eventually, two younger people come out with the package. Myself and my boyfriend got out to put it in the car as it was very heavy. As they were shoving it in, it got stuck on my backseat. I requested they wait while I went around to pick it up from the inside, so it would slide in, and not to push until I said so. Unprompted, they both shoved it, crushing my boyfriend’s thumb and breaking the back seat’s bottom cover. All-in-all we spent over an hour being jerked around by this situation. On top of that, my car was damaged in the process. I am irritated that my time was wasted when there were multiple opportunities for the employees to be transparent with the amount of time I would be spending there. I understand if heavier/larger items will take more time to prepare, but stalling and being dishonest about the expected timeline is unnecessarily disrespectful.

It’s close and has a decent selection. And I can charge large purchases with six months no interest. However, Employees generally 1) don’t know much about the products and/or don’t care, 2) have a chip on their shoulder, or 3) think they are better than you or doing you a favor. I won’t even go into my experiences (yes, three trips) yesterday, but suffice it to say, I rarely leave without being disgusted or angry. I’d much rather go to another store where I am valued. So I didn’t purchase from HD today.

Just spent an hour waiting for curbside pickup if one item.. At 20 minutes I went inside as no one was answering the listed number. After a 10 minute wait for the only customer service agent they acknowledged that they had not checked their device (Maria). They told me my item would be on its way. 15 minutes later I went back in to 2 additionally clueless customer service reps who were of no help as my item showed delivered but was just sitting on a cart nearby. I had to walk it out myself with someone who had just gotten on shift.

I used to love going to Home Depot. Now their customer service isn’t what it used to be. If you have a Pro Account which I do, you may want to look up any past purchases. Protection plans are not being honored unless you have the ((original receipt)) which fade away. Due to them upgrading their system any info on purchases from a year ago I made are lost. Deleted (gone forever). I have purchased 3 Shark vacuums, 2 Hoover carpet cleaning machines, 1 Hoover pro vacuum. None of which are covered any longer, due to the upgraded system. It’s a joke to buy the extended warranty / protection plan. Very disappointed

I bought a freezer a week ago and since they installed it, it has not working, it doesn’t even make ice or water, they charged me for the installation, I came to Home Depot today, they could not figure out anything, all what they did was blame the manufacturer!
