What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I wiiiiiiish we had a Kroger in Pittsburgh. We stopped on the way back from a dinner because we we told it was a location that sold a certain Pringle.
I saw they had the vegan hotdogs I buy elsewhere, so that was a good thing!!

I gave it 4 stars because yes I loved it and got a few items but it’s hit or miss on prices. Sure its clean as heck inside but I live on a budget and there are some times admitting a super center is where things have to be purchased to save….. I have no problem with that.

I also don’t like stores that require you to get a little plastic card just for the sale prices. I like the prices to be the same every visit.

With that said, it sure is a beautiful store. If I lived closer, I’m sure I would stop for an item or two here and there just for a change of scenery.

GET THE POKÉ BOWL!!!! You’ll thank me later!!!

  2. First time doing pickup at this location. The spots are set up a little different but the process was easy and fairly fast. (Pickup around 4:45pm on a Sunday)
I’m not a fan of pickups because of they don’t have something you don’t know until last minute, so that is a downfall because if you are planning a meal you might not get everything you need.
Other then that, service was great and prices were good!

  3. Overall I love this store but today Sunday March 12th at 2:38 pm I wanted someone from customer service there was a sign up that said it was temporarily closed…30 minutes later a woman showed up saying she was heading on break…and would be back in 30 minutes….really how do you need a break from a position you haven’t been working. It was a real black mark for me… customer service should be manned during the appropriate hours period.

  4. Have been satisfied with the store in the past, however less and less open check out lines. Last Tuesday early evening there were no open lanes, only self checkout. If this is the new policy I will be an ex customer.

  5. The hiring manager is rude and very Condescending. No wonder they cant keep people. If she treats you rudely and you never met just think how you will be treated once she knows you. In this day and age I still believe treat others how you want to be treated.

Kroger in Weirton WV: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know

When shopping at Kroger, it is important to be aware of certain rules and etiquette to ensure a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience for yourself and others. From following the store policies to being considerate of other shoppers, here are some key rules to keep in mind:

  • Bring your own reusable bags: Kroger encourages customers to bring their own reusable bags for their groceries. This not only helps reduce plastic waste but also saves you from paying for plastic bags.
  • Follow the checkout process: Be sure to place your items on the conveyor belt neatly and follow the checkout process. Allow the cashier to scan and bag your items, and make sure to pay for all your purchases.
  • Respect other shoppers’ personal space: While shopping, be mindful of other shoppers and respect their personal space. Avoid blocking the aisles or crowding others while they are browsing the shelves.
  • Observe social distancing: Especially during times of public health concerns, it is important to maintain a safe distance from other shoppers. Follow any posted signs or floor markings indicating proper social distancing.
  • Be considerate when choosing products: If you decide you no longer want an item, try to return it to its proper location instead of leaving it randomly in the store. This helps maintain an organized and tidy shopping environment for everyone.

While it is crucial to abide by the rules mentioned above, it is also equally important to know what not to do while shopping at Kroger:

  • Don’t use your cellphone inconsiderately: Avoid having loud phone conversations in the store, as it can disturb other shoppers. If you need to take a call, try to move to a less crowded area or step outside the store.
  • Don’t sample products without permission: It is not appropriate to open and sample products without permission from the store staff. Only taste or try out products if it is allowed and indicated by the store.
  • Don’t bring outside food or drinks: In most grocery stores, bringing outside food or drinks is not allowed. This policy helps ensure food safety and cleanliness throughout the store.
  • Don’t leave perishable items in random aisles: If you change your mind about a refrigerated or frozen item, it is important to return it to the appropriate section or hand it over to a store employee. Leaving perishable items in random aisles can lead to food waste and create inconvenience for other shoppers.
  • Don’t engage in disruptive or rude behavior: While shopping, it is important to maintain a respectful and considerate demeanor towards both the staff and fellow shoppers. Avoid shouting, causing disruptions, or engaging in any form of offensive behavior.
