Do not by produce here that isn’t in a sealed package. I routinely find moldy produce. Berries seem to be the biggest culprit, but today I found a moldy melon, pepper, and flies growing in the onions which look like they were used as the ball in a baseball game. I spoke to someone who identified themself as the produce manager and he never once took responsibility for the quality of his product and instead would give excuses such as “it arrives like this” or “the guys don’t check it before they put it out”. Even worse, he was taking the moldy strawberries out of the package and putting the package back which is robbing you the customer because you are getting less than the pound the package says and they’ll probably mold in 24 hours from the existing spores. I stopped buying my produce here and go further down the road to either Whole Foods or Walmart.

Its a kroger and unfortunately this is nothing special any more about kroger. Friday night 8:30 they blocked access to enter the store at the produce section. You had to in thru the check out section. I understand with two entrances you may close one, but the food side should remain open, They have weekly digital coupons but they dont have all the items in stock., this is par for kroger, like the people who order dont know the sale items. Then they have buy 3 at this price or buy 5 at this price. What if you dont need 3 or 5 or cant find 5 items to get . Go to kroger , hope they have the sales items, when they dont finish shopping at walmart. Patiently waiting for HEB to come to the area. Any new store could come to north texas and if they any customer service could clean up and take over the market
They are usually pretty good but today, on a busy Saturday, the cart stalls were full of carts but there were none at the entrance when I got there. That was rather annoying.
Plus it is rather “infuriating” when a digital coupon does not apply like it should. They need to fix their system so it works EVERY TIME and doesn’t upset customers… but I got a quick refund at the service desk.
