2 months agoToday we ordered online for pick up. Pick up was set between 5:30-6:00.Arrived at 5:40 after pick up had been confirmed. 10 minutes after checking in..and nothing. Called the phone number and after 5 minutes of been on hold finally got a hold of a Manager and expressed my concerns. He reassured me order would be out in 10 minutes, apologizing because most employees had moved to Albertsons. Fine I understand,but why not delay the order on the app? Stayed a little longer and when the clock hit 6:35 I called again to speak to a Manager. Different Manager this time,(didn’t catch a name but it was a guy) but I just asked to cancel my order. This person just said “Thanks, Bye”.Never apologized, never asked details.He hung up before I could even ask for a name just in case my order wasn’t canceled. No wonder the store is going downhill. This kind of Management doesn’t help.2 months agoWe have spent a lot of money at this store over the years and we have been loyal customers. We needed to get butane for our grill. There were three containers that had the blue seal and unopened. After asking an associate at the customer service counter to assist us with the butane purchase, she said they were out of butane. My husband asked her to simply come look and see that they indeed did have 3 containers. She turned to her manager and he shrugged his shoulders and said “no.” It was so frustrating. Now we have to go to another store. And we will continue to go to another store, never shopping at Sixth Street Kroger again.4 months agoThis review is not for the grocery part of this Kroger but for Armando the pharmacy tech at the drive through window. This location is our go to for medications. The employee that is usually at the pick up window is simply not friendly and does not appear to enjoy his job. However, when I went to pick up my husband’s meds this past week, I was warmly greeted by a nice polite and SMILING young man named Armando. Give this guy an immediate raise so he’ll continue to work for you Kroger and do it asap! Customer Service is everything in this post pandemic world and this young man nailed it.3 weeks agoWorst experience ever and very unprofessional stuff! We went tonight to buy some cokes on sale and a worker told us that we couldn’t buy there because we were in the store earlier. We weren’t at this store for weeks, and he rudely insisted that we were not allowed to buy there, he took away our cart and we had to talked with the manager. When we were leaving the store, we could see the worker treating other customers rudely and we tried to help them, and another store manager screamed at us that we had to leave the store because this problem “were not our business”. Awful customer service. We will NEVER come back again.2 years agoI am always greeted upon walking in… My experience is always a good one when there. The employees are very helpful and make the effort to help look for something if it’s not in stock on shelves. In my opinion I give it 5 stars because they always have what I’m looking for when I do go. It’s also very conveniently close so I never go out of my way. I recommend going to this McArthur location

An entire store full of people, with only self checkout open. 8 registers for about 60+ people horrible experience for everyone involved.3 weeks agoNever have baskets for the customers, but they do have baskets for the vendors, the employees, and for trashin the last weekThis is for the deli. We got here before 8pm to get some deli meat/cheese. We were refused help because they need an hour to clean but their sign clearly states they are open until 9. They were very rude. Customer service called for help and we still waited an additional 15 minutes, asked 3 times and still no help. Management, please have your employees do better.2 months agoWent to Kroger again yesterday and encountered the young man that was so friendly and helpful, this time I asked him his name – his name is Randy! I was watching him while I was in line and he was helping customers, each and every encounter he had was delightful to witness. Helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and the most wonderful smile. A definite asset to Kroger! Thank You Randy for ALWAYS being a delight!2 months agoEvery evening the store reduces in staff during the peak time for this location. Every time I am in this store from 8 pm to 10:30 the only check outs are the automated one with 1 associate. 20 + people in line standing, waiting, this is Every time I’m in this store. 3 days to 4 out of the week. There have only been shopping carts in side only a time or 2 if your lucky. The carts are all in non working order due to the front castor locking wheel has been drug so that the wheel does not turn or makes for an unpleasant noisy disruptive shopping experience. Then there is the pricing, we all know profit is the name of the game but scalping is ridiculous mainly the bakery with cookies at $6, daily round cake , such as Irish cream cake $20.00 I just pass on by those items and I would push for others to follow. This store need serous attention. I was hung up on on the customer corporate number by the automated machine. This broke in while talking to an associate. This is crazy.

Dear Management
I would like to bring this to your attention, this is unacceptable. The gentleman and lady working the night shift did an exemplary job. Why would you close the cashiers before 8:30? Am sure you have people who would want to work those lanes. Cutting work hours to save some money for shareholders ? While your customers spend more time in the line than the time it took them to shop? Let’s do better.
I do not recommend ordering for a grocery pick up from this specific Kroger, I placed my order about 230 and they gave me a pick up for 7 to 730. I got a call 20 minutes after placing my pick up order that they’re going to have to cancel my order because it wasn’t going to be done by 7 o’clock. I was OK with picking it up later but having to cancel my order completely because the person who picks the orders is leaving at 6 o’clock but you have pick up times as late as 830. It’s not making any sense to me which lets me know that not only do the employees here. Do not want to do their work. They’re willing to inconvenience other people who actually do depend on grocery pick up. I’m a single mother I can’t go into the store and spent hours trying to find my groceries. That’s why I take the time out to order my groceries ahead of time so that I’m able to pick it up. I work throughout the week so it’s hard for me to just walk into a store and pick up my groceries. Kroger do better. Seriously you are hiring people creating all these hiring events hire people that are actually going to do the work hire people that are actually going to do their jobs because not only are you inconveniencing people that help your store be ran completely for you to even hire people at all. If you’re going to hire people that are not going to do the work, go ahead and shut down the whole store nobody needs to be wasting their time placing an order and then turn around 20 minutes later order canceled because your workers that you unfortunately hire do not want to do the job do better Kroger.
Ive ordered pick up many times from this location, it’s my go to location and they do a fantastic job! Thank you Matthew, he calls to let me know when they are running a bit behind or if there are substitutions in my order. Kathleen is the amazing, she’s brought out my order the last few times and always checks if I have additional coupons and make sure I know about any changes to the order. I’ve never had a better pick up experience this team is amazing and I appreciate all the effort they put in to make sure I’m happy with my order. This location really has a great system!
I watched these three employees harass this young women at self checkout. Please be careful because I have never in my life seen an attack such as this, the lady wasn’t arguing or trying to steal she stood there in tears as they looked at a good 4 or 5 items that were missed when scanning and even called the police on her!! I am disgusted at this behavior and will definitely not be coming back these people need to be retrained or fired.
I’ve been going to this location for the last 10 years but after today I won’t be going here anymore. I was told by a white cashier named Austin how to load up my groceries onto the conveyor. I put my 2 gallons of milk at the end and was told the milk goes at the front. I’m 47 years old and this certainly was not my first time going grocery shopping. He also went in the tell me his name was Tony today because it’s Taco Tuesday. I didn’t even ask him nor did I care. Do better Kroger.
