What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I go to this Kroger because it is convenient, on my way home from work. I can run in and out. I don’t usually care that they have no customer service. I don’t care that I have to wait in line sometimes.

I DO care that today I had to wait at the self check out for assistance for almost 30 minutes because the woman running the self check out had no help. I think maybe she didn’t understand the computer system completely yet, which is fine. Four or five of us waited patiently for several minutes and finally I saw a manager and asked if he could please assist us as there were several people waiting (not waiting in line, waiting at their checkout area). He glanced at the checkout area and said “She’s over there. She’ll be with you shortly”

Completely ignoring the fact that not only did customers need help but also the associate needed help. The disregard for everyone, including the poor woman who has to work for someone like that, seriously appalled me. Like I said, I’m fine with mediocre customer service as it’s expected at that Kroger, but this manager crossed a line with me today. Treat people better. Treat your customers better and treat your associates better.

  2. This has to be the worst Kroger I have ever been to in the country. The bathrooms are never clean ever. I have been in cleaner gas station bathrooms. No one ever greets you or offers help. I was a chef for Kroger for 4 years in the Cincinnati area. I am well aware of company policy and this store fallows non of them. The manager should be demoted to produce or grocery manager. Then he may remember how to run a department.

  3. Trip to grocery store shouldn’t be full of drama, stress or bad customer. I’m normally a very calm and a understanding person but as I was checking out today however, A cashier named Patrick showed a lot of aggression towards his co-workers yelling at them for no apparent reason and than pointed his anger towards me while I said nothing to him and was just trying to pay for my groceries. I remained calm than he kept yelled at me and rudely and obnoxiously asked me to show my ID for the alcohol, I handed him my ID while he’s constantly repeating, “hand me Your ID” multiple time as he sees me reach for my wallet to pull it out. When Patrick sees my vertical ID, he than has a nuclear melt down and starts accusing me of being underage while I am 22 years old… he aggressively demands his co-worker to check my id, but it turned out to be real… he continued having a bad attitude even when there was a line of customers behind me. Management should consider hiring real employees, instead of half baked or rotten ones like Patrick. Also there should not be tension between employees in the work area, very unprofessional. You get better customer service at Walmart.

  4. Seafood staff and staff on the floor were friendly and helpful.

Check out is always crowded and understaffed. Wait times are unreasonable because they typically only have 1 actual check out open. Not ideal to use self checkout with multiple produce options.

  5. Robert, was awesome. Super helpful guy super patient and super respectful. Saw him helping out a load of people and I didn’t have to wait long at all as he spotted me immediately. This guy was on top of it, you don’t see this level of customer service anymore, therefore I had to write a review. This Publix has a lot of stock, it’s overall a decent Kroger.

Grocery is always clean and most items are generally in stock. Shopping here during nights can be quiet and calm. Staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. Good wine selection available. Ample parking and gas station at this location.

Most krogers have become awful but this location has to be the worst. Hot items are either always very late or not available. Most employees don’t care. They should shut it down

No help on the floor to find things and no one to check people out. Long lines. So much so that I had time to do this in line.

Great store, I just hate that they don’t have more small buggies in the store, and normally, there’s none.

When it’s 830 in the morning and you go to self check out and the only attendant (Jenny) is hunched over, eyes closed at the standing end attendant desk, it doesn’t make a good impression. I had to wake her up to ask a question simply if stamps could be purchased at the self check out. Her horrible customer service skills proceeded… never a smile, never thank you, never a please. Not to mention she begin to educate me as to the proper process for self check out. Jenny, please learn something from this experience, and to her managers, provide coaching and do shadowing to see what I experienced today.

This store is absolutely amazing. Items are easy to find and accessible, lines move fast when checking out, and prices are very reasonable. My bi-monthly shopping trips always happen at this store, as I am a dedicated shopper. Overall, shopping experience is a 10/10, management of items and isles is a 10/10, and Jen is a 10/10 manager.

Was in the store today and “WOW’ has it improved over the past few months. The aisles are clean and neat, the produce was well stocked and easy to find my items. All the departments were orderly and the personnel friendly and helpful. Made my shopping a pleasure not a chore to be dreaded. A vast improvement over the store it was before. What ever you all are doing keep it up. Kudos to the poor cashiers who have put up with senile old farts like me fumbling at check out. Also the floral department was beautiful with balloons for grandparents day. Looks like a well run store.

Great store. Been shopping here for a while and i’ve noticed a great change in the store cleanliness and just overall the attitude in the workers. The new store manager is great. Before she started working here the employees stayed on their phones and couldn’t bother to greet us. The store was dirty and unorganized and the produce was subpar. Now when i walk into that store i am greeted by employees and feel welcomed. I’m able to find what i need and i don’t feel grossed out while shopping for the things i need. The freshness of their produce has greatly improved and i’m thoroughly impressed. I had an issue with the mobile app but a manager helped me resolve it, i dont remember her name but i actually felt like i was a priority at this store. I can clearly see the hard work that has been put into this store and it’s all because of the new store manager.

I used to love to come to this store because of how close it is to my home. However, this all changed dramatically when Jen became the store manager. Each time I’ve come in, Jen has been really rude and talking to the employees like they’re dogs. The last few times, I’ve noticed her being particularly nasty to Melissa in produce. I’m honestly shocked that the company hasn’t gotten rid of Jen due to her unprofessionalism and serious attitude problems. Every time I’ve come in this store since she took over as store manager, the people working have changed. This store has a cancer that’s killing it slowly and it’s name is Jen. Y’all need to get rid of her before this store is closed for good. She is 1000 percent to blame for the store’s dwindling quality and she obviously lacks the temperament to be a manager. I’ve also heard her cuss at her employees. A verbally abusive and probably bipolar store manager is the last thing your store needs. If I’m ever in there again and hear her verbally abusing another employee (especially the workers in produce), I will call as many union and corporate people as needed to get her fired.
