This Walmart Neighborhood Market is always well stocked and employees are frequently seen putting up replacement items on the shelves. It gets a lot of traffic, obviously sells a lot of merchandise and keeping up with the inventory and stocking has to be a challenge.
The produce area looks good and the products there always seem fresh and ready to take home.
I have not been as fond of the meat selection as some of the local supermarkets look better. Perhaps it is the lighting, perhaps it is the quality of the meat, perhaps it is my lack of knowledge. The Walmart prices are less; I usually buy meat and chicken elsewhere and often go for the organic or something similar.
In general, I have not found any prices where I am familiar with the product and the ‘Walmart price is never higher and usually lower than competitors’ prices. While their wine selection is limited, the wines I often buy are usually a couple of dollars less per bottle than they are at other supermarkets. Costco is usually lower than Walmart and has a better selection but getting into Costco is often unpleasant because of the traffic and crowd in the stores.
The store is well laid out and finding a product is usually relatively easy despite the large number of goods available.
The prices are good for consumers; the location is convenient; the selection is excellent. It is a good option for those who pay close attention to their food expenses and still like a good selection of products available.

After being hit by a car on my way home from work, I decided I’d walk over and get some beer to unwind from a stressful monetary not realizing I left my non expired I.D. in my work bag, but I get I.D. and am denied the purchase of the beer not because I can’t prove my age with multiple forms of older I.D.s but even asked if I could show a picture from my phone. I asked if I really had to walk all the way back to my apartment to get a non expired I.d. for a 6 pack of beer that shes just gonna punch my birthday into the register, she said yes its policy. I’m 27 full beard, but guess she had to have some power in her life. Went to the Walmart gas station and bought a 12 pack no problem. To the red hair manager with glasses, I hope you find something in your life to make you happy and feel less of a need to be a pain in the rear. t(‘.’t)By Kyle Canwin (2 months ago)If i could rate it lower i would. 2nd time getting denied for an expired id even after speaking to corporate, their policy is an expired id is acceptable if there is back up identification to prove their age is accurate, not that their expiration date is with in the threshold. 2nd time i got denied, i told them id call corporate then they kicked me out saying i smelt like alcohol, never had a sip but because i disputed the policy they dont know i got kicked out. literally just google “expiration date walmart” and youd see how misinformed they are about their own policy.By Kyle Cannon (2 months ago)So, I’ve attempted to email Walmart Corporate to acknowledge this store’s exemplary staff. I live closer to Mt. Gap Publix, yet my go to is this NW. I like the people not that the Publix staff aren’t friendly but I just find the people at this NW will go above and beyond.
Two individuals in particular should be noted. Kimmie and Pamela are extra when it comes to customer service. These individuals are honest and helpful and I enjoy greeting them every time I get that chance.

Really like this store! Easy in and out and they have a good selection of products. I was in line 1 and the cashier told me she was closing and I had to go to line 2. I said ok and went to line 2. There was a man behind me in line and she rung up his beer so I said why couldn’t she ring up my few groceries and she told me to shut up. I was so upset. I couldn’t believe she talked to me like that. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. Workers do not speak to customers, watch you like a hawk and follows you around the store. I just left, and it’s 5:48 on a Friday night. There was not a single register Open! There was a line halfway down the aisles going to the self- check out registers. I just needed to grab a couple of things that my wife needed for dinner tonight and I’m going to go to Kroger’s. In fact, I handed my lettuce and parmesan cheese to the front end manager, and African American with short orange hair, and told her that I was going to go to Kroger’s where they had a few more cashiers. She looked at me and gave me the most sarcastic smile and said “Great, see ya!”
I wish I could say that I’d never be back, but this place is right outside of my neighborhood and it’s so convenient, but not when it’s going to take 20 minutes to wait in line. When i walked in there was a lady waiting to get strawberries from the back because the ones on display were molded. I then when to pick out my vegetables and it was terrible ! Almost every container of habaneros and the bagged bell peppers had at least 3 that were completely black inside. Even the eggs inside the cartoon were dirty. Just disgusting.
