Those are the two reasons I’m giving four stars instead of 5.a month agoStore leader/ Manager, Greg Chastain, is a real piece of work. He treats his employees like garbage; all except one. There is obvious favoritism from him towards one female employee, whom of which’s name I will not be sharing. On multiple occasions he has been seen being a little “over affectionate”. More so than what would be deemed as appropriate behaviour in the work place, especially considering he is the store manager. To my knowledge, there is highly inappropriate affairs going on, furthermore, Mr. Chastain is a married man with two young children. As disgusting as this is, this is not the limit to his horrid demeanor. He talks down to his employees if they were children, and has a horrible attitude seemingly all the time. I truly do not know how this man wound up being a manager but I, for the likes of everyone at kroger 423, hope that he gets taken down for his inappropriate behaviour, and his lovely wife and kids are made aware of their husband/fathers disgusting “Kroger life”.4 months agoDon asked did I need help finding something && politely stopped what he was doing to help me find what I was looking for! He even took an extra step to go ask for help after he didn’t direct me to the right direction! He stayed and made sure I had the right product & asked did I need further assistance! This store is disgusting!! BEWARE of the produce section. Most of the food is expired and molded. There have been SEVERAL times where I’ve found molded tomatoes covered in bugs, 1 month old expired guacamole, molded dates, and cracked watermelons. I suggest everyone to stay away from this store. This store should be reported to the health department. Here’s a picture of molded dates from this store.
When checking out some of my items didn’t come up with the correct price and Unique assisted right away! Turns out I didn’t scan the digital coupons. She quickly helped me find the items in the app on my phone and rescanned my Plus card! Thanks Unique for providing great customer service on a busy Saturday afternoon!
Horrible experience at the pharmacy. I was denied a medical discount for medication that was covered under my commercial health insurance. The coupon had always been used in the past with no problem. The individual I dealt with today was not at all accomodating or helpful. I had to go to another provider and I had NO PROBLEM using my discount at another location.
KROGER needs to educate their pharmaceutical assistance to do their homework and due diligence in helping patients with critical need fill their prescriptions. This could be life or death in the long run. It’s medication for goodness sake!!!
I wasn’t there trying to purchase a “candy bar”.
I have been going to this Kroger on and off for almost 20 years and it has been just OK. Not sure if it was the time of day or if something has changed but it is so much better. People were very friendly more helpful than they’ve ever been and just a different atmosphere. Kroger if there have been changes made at this location, they are working!
There was a stench that greeted me as soon as walked in the door. There were flies all over the rotisserie chicken at the hot station. Flies all over the produce. Poorly stocked and overall disgusting. Got to check out and the cashier did not want to greet me. Will not return.
