What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. This location is typically my favorite because it’s slightly less of a disappointment than surrounding locations. That being said … this location does have a poorly managed front end. And shame on the store manager/ co-managers for allowing them to drown when the place gets busy. No one should have to wait literally 45 minutes to check out when they are spending upwards of $400 bucks a week at this establishment. And I get it no one wants to work anymore, but if you accept the management position you accept responsibility for the store and how it operates. When people don’t show up to work you have to step up. If that’s not your mentality then maybe management isn’t for you. When I worked at Kroger years ago the managers helped out when the store got busy, but that was in Georgia where apparently a work ethic is not a lost art. Everyone here has a “that’s beneath me or that’s not my job” type attitude. Kroger as a whole just needs to step aside and let Publix take over this area so we can have a pleasant shopping experience vs this subpar experience of grocery store chains.

  2. Went to the deli and two workers were behind the meat counter and neither one wanted to wait on me they were talking and laughing showing each other their phones I was always told to wait on customers first! 2 more customers came up and we all waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order this isn’t the first time at this deli will need to take my business elsewhere! Where are the managers!!!!

  3. About two weeks ago I went to the Kroger first time in the area and I went to a line with two girls the cashier was Lauren I think and the bagger was Taylor they were so sweet and kind to me the helped me and my eggs was broken and Taylor went back to get them for me and I even forgot my lettuce and she went back and got it for me amazing young ladies for real can’t wait to come back!!!

  4. It seems that everytime I come into the store no one is available to help me in the cheese area. For the past 2 months I’ve visited I’ve been highly disappointed in their lack of staff. The other day I had to call the manager to get someone to help me in the floral area as well to get balloons for a family member’s birthday. I expect better staffing and ability to get help while shopping.

06/13/2023 Update: I’ve recently visited this location and was happy to find they had cheese cut for almost their entire selection. Not only that, there was someone working in the area and it seemed as if another person was receiving training. This was a very delightful surprise and truly made my shopping experience easy. The staff have been eager to assist me if I am looking for a specific item, even if it’s not been restocked quite yet. I can truly say, with these upgrades in staff that I have enjoyed my latest visits and highly recommend this location.

  5. Very disappointed that the Kroger in Liberty Township, and most of the Kroger‘s now are only having one actual lane with an actual cashier working. I am going to find another place to go where there are actual real people serving you.

I love Kroger. I really do. But when I walked into this location for even just a few brief moments…it legitimately smelled like something died in the air vents. And what really bothered me was that everyone was acting like it was fine. I’m sorry, but I don’t wanna smell something that smells like a rotting corpse when I’m just trying to grab something quick to eat before I drive 45 minutes home. I understand that fast food is an option, but it isn’t healthy. I don’t really know what y’all can do about the smell, but please try to do something. You’re supposed to be one of the nicer locations…

I stop here 2-3 times a week, usually in the mornings on way to work or on lunch breaks. I always have a positive experience! I’m not typically in for a large shop.. just a few snack items for my day.. but I’m always in and out pretty quickly and always treated super politely- which for me makes a great experience! I think this Kroger may have the nicest front-end u-scan associates that I’ve ever interacted with. There are 2 ladies in particular that really go above/beyond and just seem to make sure you smile on the way out.

The manager was so professional with helping me getting the needed thing, he was at the customer service area I forgot what’s his name. Really great customer service.

This Kroger has to go. I hope the board of health goes in and calls it.

I have repeatedly been given LONG expired foods here in my Kroger pickup order and today when I went in an entire freezer case wasn’t holding temp and all of the ice cream was melted. No one seemed to know, so I assume anyone who has a Kroger pickup is going to end up with bad food.

The smell others post about is not exaggerated and was recently discussed in a Cincinnati City Beat article profiling the 10 worst Krogers in Cincinnati.

If someone told me that this location were sued for food poisoning I would not be surprised at all and I imagine the previous reviews would help support the case.

At this point I don’t care if the new Kroger is built. The current one needs to go regardless.

This Kroger is one of the older models that probably came out in the early 80s that was the largest available at that particular time. they’ve done their best to try to keep it up and running, and it gives a little nostalgia coming over here. It’s due for an upgrade and I think the only problem is is that Kroger likes to just make a whole new store and put the old one out to pasture, but this isn’t gonna happen here, As this one is a little more centralized next to the neighborhood in the general area.

My favorite Kroger to shop at. Starbucks inside. They have live music on the weekends and a food bar. We have food sensitivities and they have a large selection of gluten and dairy free foods. They used to have the baby carts that my son loved to pushed. I don’t see them anymore though. I wish they still had them! Haha. Workers are always extremely friendly. A bagger even walked out to my van with me and helped me unload groceries one time.

Very disappointed in the Kroger quality as of late. It feels like they care more about quantity a d not quality. Just an example, I bought some of their Kroger brand Hawaiian Rolls. I was making food to take to a friend who recently lost a family member. Quick and easy sliders. I went to cut the rolls in half, and they were a gooey mess. Obviously they weren’t cooked all the way thru. I thought fluke. Opened the second pack, same thing. Ultimately, my husband grabbed a couple packs from Meijer on way home, perfect.

Sunday morning with a full cart of groceries, and no checkout lanes open only the large self checkouts where you have to scan your items send them down a conveyer then bag them doing the job of 2 employees. I for one do not work for Kroger and do not want to I believe we need to put an end to this practice. I will leave a cart full of food when this happens as I recommend others do as well. This way they will have to have an employee put away the groceries or they can have an employee man the checkout, either way they will have work to do. Let’s get rid of the large self checkouts.

This Kroger is well stocked! I hardly have any substitutions when I place orders for pick up from this location! My latest pick up order consisted of meal prep for 150 people for dinner with NO substitutions! Thank you Kroger!
