What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. The Leasing Agent Eva has earned a A+ rating with me. Customer Service is her game and you, the new resident receives the best of care. The Manager is straight, direct and is willing to do the work herself when her “get ready” staff fails at their job. Amazing Office Combo. Thank You!!

  2. The office staff are fantastic. They go above and beyond to help their residence with needs they have. My elderly mom lives here and I feel confident knowing they are looking out for her when I can’t be there. J B

  3. Moving in took a little work. But, with Eva in the office, she helped jump through all of the red hoops. The rest of the staff was helpful also but, Eva was awesome.

  4. Beautiful complex and friendly neighbors. The front gate is always open or broken though. And they have yet to implement the system involving using your own personal code to get into the complex.

  5. Everyone in office was so helpful. I have already met several neighbors and everyone has been welcoming and kind. I can’t wait to get involved in more activities. Best decision I’ve ever made was to move to Sequoia.

They like to ignore people. They do not care if you are having a death in a family . We wanted to buy there but couldn’t 2 years ago because of my mom getting dementia and her doctor told us it would be real hard on her . Now she is in final stages and we are planning on leaving Illinois for Arizona or we just noticed there was a Robson Ranch in Texas and we thought we would like to check out the area seeing we have never been to Texas and we have tried to get a hold of them and we are being ignored .We have wrote 5 times now and really not sure what to do.

We were just at the Robson Ranch Farmers Market. Wonderful Market to stroll through in a beautiful setting. There were many vendors from absolutely gorgeous Fresh cut bouquet’s and potted Edible Flowers from Escalara Farms to fresh vegetables. There were chocolate truffles in many flavors, cookies and brownies from Touring Chocolate. Sourdough breads, Scones and treats from Demeter’s Kitchen. Along with pies and handmade pastas to homemade salsas and honey. If you are in the area this is a must. Stop by this Farmers Market. Friday’s from 8 am to 11am.

Great place but high dues. Consider Shadow Brook community in Arizona for better weather and fewer allergies.

the perfect community place to live after retirement, with many activities during the year. i worked there at the community center as a subcontractor. and let me tell you that, they work so hard maintaining everything in a perfect condition. they required the best materials. the best companies and of course, No shortcuts to save money like most places.

Lovely community simply beautiful. 27 holes of golf well maintained. Good restaurant and bar. Very little shade on golf coarses. Bring a hat and mabey something too cool off with.

We love SunStone Village as a 55+ community. The residents and staff are very friendly. There are activities for the residents. All of the apartments are one story with outside entrances. The grounds are very pleasant with many mature trees. There is a very nice club house with a large multi-purpose room for a number of activities for residents. There is a big, well equipped fitness center with a number of instructor led exercise classes. A large, outdoor pool is off the back of the club house with an area for outside grilling. Shopping is very convenient with numerous stores nearby.

I moved to Sunstone Village two months ago. The management and maintenance service personnel do everything possible to solve problems expeditially. I do not have any complaints. They do listen and are hands on to solve issues immediately! Yes, I am happy to be part of the Sunstone Village family! This type of service makes me feel welcome! I thank you and appreciate your hard work! Iris López

I don’t typically write negative reviews; however, I would warn anyone considering moving their family member into this complex. While the apartment itself was okay, maintenance was unacceptable. My mother’s air conditioning went out 3 times in 1 year, her dishwasher needed repairs 4 times, her kitchen sink facet never worked correctly, and her front door lock and screen broke immediately after moving in. (The comments from other posters about the front gate being broken and air conditioning not working are also true.) We submitted ADA documentation (signed by her dr) to terminate her lease in 60 days because my mother could no longer live alone after a traumatic fall in the bathroom, which does not have a walk-in shower. They lost (and then found) the paperwork after we turned it in 3 times, telling her at different times that she would have to pay for 60 days, 90 days, and then until they relet her apartment. They have continued to charge us (now saying that she’ll have to pay for another 30 days or until they relet her apartment). I would not recommend this place to anyone who has a disabled, elderly family member.

Love the concept and my neighbors. Very dissatisfied with maintenance or the lack thereof. Security gates non functioning for nearly one year, some residents say much longer. At least one couple without air-conditioning for two months this past summer. Many can no longer afford the rent increases and are moving.

My husband and I moved to Attiva Denton last Fall and have now renewed our lease for another term. The office and maintenance staff are all wonderful. We love the size of our 1 bedroom apartment, the ample storage, and the beauty of the kitchen/bath. We have met lots of people who are all very friendly. The community activities at the Bistro are well attended and that is how we have come to know some very wonderful new friends. Walking thru the community even in the wee hours of the morning or night, I always feel safe and at peace. We are encouraged to decorate our patio area to our liking. The feeling of community is abundant here at Attiva Denton.
