  1. My father was there and I have to say the nursing staff was incredibly kind. Amazing overworked people and I’m sure underpaid. It is a great place for residents that have little or no issues other than just being elderly. My father on the other hand suffers from dementia. It was decided to elevate him to the lowest level which I’m sure after observing the care he would have received he never would of survived it. My sister who took on the brunt of dealing with it because she lives locally went through quite a lot trying to secure the best care for him. The funny thing was the nurses that were caring for him were as confused as we were as to why this was happening. In my opinion it was a matter of this facility looking at his income and trying to free up a room for the next patient. I’m happy to report that fortunately we had the finances to move him to a place that he is thriving at. Understanding, sadly that isn’t the case for most people. My opinion on Fairhaven is they should listen more to the staff who actually are hands on with their residents and their families. As much as I understand it’s a business it’s so important to connect with the backbone of your business to continue to be successful. In my experience with my father it was all about money.

  2. These people are supposed to be Christians. They had no respect for me or my position as an African American Minister. They treated me an my wife as black employees totally unfair. I highly discredit this place as a retirement home and a place of employment.

  4. Fairhaven has been a God send to me! In the 20 years I’ve worked in Healthcare, I have never worked in a more caring, compassionate, family friendly atmosphere than I am here. The staff have less residents to tend to, so the care for the residents is exceptional. The residents are very well taken care of and loved. The direct care staff are friendly, caring, and not just there for a paycheck. It’s easy to see that they truly enjoy their jobs and that makes the world of a difference for the amazing people who live there! I highly recommend Fairhaven for a home or an employer!

  5. Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center is hands down the greatest place I have ever worked! The residents have become my family, and the staff have become my friends. I feel so blessed that I get to call Fairhaven my employer

    The directors at Siena On Brendenwood are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The ladies who play a big part of Siena used to work at a different facility where my mother got care so when I was searching for a facility in which to live I came across them at Siena and they gave such excellent care to my mother. The food is exceptionally good and there is always a diverse menu. The employees from the kitchen, dinning room, maintenance, housekeeping, activities, receptionist and overnight security are very accommodating and friendly. Between Bowling, bingo, wheel of fortune, movies, special events, holiday celebrations, birthday parties, doctor appointment, trips to the grocery store and other fun excursions there is always something to do.

    Siena on Brendenwood is such an extraordinary place! I would recommend it to anyone and everyone looking for an independent living facility. The activities they do with the community members are just amazing, they keep them busy and have created such a wonderful, and positive living space. All the staff is very friendly, outgoing, and they help in any way they can. It’s one big family at Siena and you should be apart of it.

    I am an entertainer. I sang there for the first time last week. What a lovely place. The residents there were so sweet and seemed very happy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I hope to be back there soon.

    I not only work in this beautiful community, but I have family members who live here too. I highly recommend Siena on Brendenwood to those looking for a community that offers active, independent lifestyles.

    I have lived here 4 yrs. and feel that moving to Wesley Willows was a wonderful choice. All my neighbors here are very friendly and we consider each other family. There are many activities both on campus and off– next week Wesley Willows activity dept is taking me, and others, to the Olympic Tavern for lunch. On campus there is a large heated pool,. walking track and machines. There are trainers available to us. I often enjoy a meal at our excellent Bistro. I can’t begin to tell all the activities and opportunities available to the residents.

    My parents have been living in independent living at Wesley Willows for just over 3 months. Despite the limitations COVID has created their move in went smoothly and my parents are happy and comfortable. In talking to others whose parents are in a similar situation I feel Wesley Willows has worked very hard to keep their residents happy, healthy and safe while still offering them a little freedom within their building. The facilities are absolutely beautiful and well maintained, it very impressive.

    Don’t get sick! My mother had been in hospital and then a nursing rehab facility. Trying to get her back to Wesley Willows has been a nightmare. Lack of communication has been pivotal and I am so disappointed considering the amount of money we pay for her to be there. The worst, is when being told if we don’t like it we can move her out. Nothing like kicking us when we are down. I have been a health care worker myself for 40 years, and was hoping better from this facility. Just disappointed

    They treat the staff with little to no respect and we’re the ones receiving all the backlash from the residents the managers would literally walk past you struggling to meet the standards of a shift with no staff nor prep eating in your face 😂 seriously tho and they do not 🚫 like black 🖤 people. Don’t expect any good treatment ….

    As a parish pastor I was struck by the importance a retirement center held for adult children of aging church members. “Pastor could you help us talk mom into moving to one” I was asked several times. When I retired I knew my children must feel the same way. I discovered Wesley Willows while a community member of its fitness center. My daily workouts acquainted me with residents who were happy to share what their community meant to them. My assumption that I could never afford to live in such a community was corrected by a visit with one of the sales and marketing staff. I was amazed at their willingness to work with me in financing my move to a Willow Ridge home last year. Since then I continue to be amazed with each discovery I make of the services and amenities Wesley Willows provides. To list them would make this review far too long. Suffice it to say that I most appreciate the immaculate condition of the grounds, the spiritual and psychological support services and the opportunities to volunteer ones time and talent in a variety of ways.
