4 months agoI had an excellent stay here. As it was my first time in the US, Mathew was really helpful in giving me suggestions about the area and how to get around. He is friendly, very responsive, and always ready to share any advice you need about living in Cleveland. He also offers airport pick up for $40 and arrived on time at the airport. The house is clean and tidy, and in a perfect location for someone new to Cleveland. The area is safe, there are many restaurants/bars around, as well as a market and coin laundry nearby that makes is super convenient. I truly enjoyed my stay here, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Cleveland!4 years agoHello, Welcome! On major bus line and bars & restaurants nearby. Convenience store and grocery store are 5 minutes away. Can move in same day. Flexible pricing. Would stay here again, as long as Matthew’s hosting😁👍🏽2 years agoThis place is conveniently located in the heart ot little italy, surrounded by restaurants and vibrant cafes with lots of live shows. There is a tram station (straight to downtown) and a bus stop around the corner. Its within a walking distance to CWRU and major hospitals (UH and CCF). Well furnished with all you might need for a cosy stay. The host is very helpful and readily available for any question or assistance you might need.2 years agoThe apartment is really nice! Clean, safe and cozy! Italian style, and everything is good in the apartment. The community is called “little Italy”. Dozens of nice bars and restaurants. There is even an Opera every Friday downstairs where I lived. The CWRU is only several mins walking away, quiet easy to visit the university campus. People there are really friendly and nice. I will come back if I go to Cleveland again.

a week agoMisrepresented being ADA accessible! DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY ACCESSIBILITY ISSUES, STROLLERS, ETC.Pre-booking, post confirmation, and AGAIN before travel I reached out to confirm there was an accessible entrance. Arrived to Cleveland and received a message out check-in was being delayed due to housekeeping issues, so for an additional 90 minutes I had to fill time to be able to check-in. Arrived to find NO ACCESS OTHER THAN STAIRS. Not 1-2 steps, but more than 5!!!!
Their response was less than acceptable.
a month agoThis place has been kind of a huge mess. I booked for a month-long stay, and arrived to a dirty apartment with broken glasses, dirty dishes and almost no kitchen utensils. There were stains all over the bedroom carpet, and the soap dispensers were full of water. There were no trash bags or refill soaps, and my TV was damaged. Luckily they came to clean the next day. They did not do well. I ended up having to go back over at all myself. It took a week to get a new TV and the new one immediately stopped working, and after a few days of going back-and-forth, I finally decided to try and troubleshoot it myself and was able to fix it enough. The floors are very thin, so if you have noisy neighbors above or below, you’re pretty screwed. The green goat downstairs is the only food option within blocks. Having stayed in the Cincinnati location prior to this, I was shocked by how badly this location was kept up. I was also shocked by the lack of efficiency in response and the nonchalant responses to some of these problems. I also had other friends staying in the location and we all had similar problems. As it is right now, I couldn’t possibly recommend this location.2 weeks agoAVOID!! When we arrived and opened the door using the door code, there were other guests already using our unit. We called the host to sort it out, they refused to give us another unit. Unbelievable. We had to seek help from Airbnb services and get a refund. The neighborhood is kind of problematic as well.2 months agoThe building was really neat! However, since it’s an old building. There is zero insulation. You can hear everybody’s life story. It was really hard to sleep with all the noise and light coming through the windows. When we entered the apartment, there was sticky stuff all over the floors throughout the apartment. The bathroom floor was really dirty. There was a light bulb out in the bathroom. The sink in the bathroom was neat. However, the faucet was not big enough . The door to the bedroom would not close, and it was dirty! You are not supposed to smoke in the apartment building, but someone on the first floor was smoking pot and stunk up the building! If you’re looking for a nice place to relax, this is NOT it. If you like to party all night you will fit right in.4 months agoI’ve stayed here a handful of times and LOVED each stay. Parking was free, and the Green Goat Cafe located in the ground floor provided excellent service. So convenient to WFH and get a coffee from the cafe downstairs. I have friends who live downtown, so it’s always a quick and short uber ride. Can’t wait to stay here again!!

Beautiful architecture – super clean units. Parking was not a hasstle like I thought it would be being a hotel located in the heart of Downtown. What makes this place special is the people that work here. They take pride in their jobs and made sure they took care of me. Maddie and Ben were super accommodating. I think I called the front desk maybe 6 times before checking-in for directions, and parking, and Madde didn’t make me feel dumb or annoying for doing so. Ben was very respectful and accommodating also during a conversation about renting options. Highly recommend staying here if you haven’t. Upper management should recognize these two for the pride they take in their jobs.
Awesome spot! … Great rooms, and very sweet staff! It was a little confusing navigating the property, since this is also an apartment complex there are a lot of instructions for checking in and parking .. however, great supportive staff helped up and it was 1000x better than staying in a to star hotel! We will be back!!
Fantastic room, everything you could possibly need and fantastic location!
This place was a perfect stay for attending an event at Rocket Mortgage Field House. If we ever need to stay downtown again this is where we’ll be. The whole building is clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Not having to worry about parking downtown was a great add on. My only recommendation is to bring a sound machine if you’re a light sleeper, no fault of the Roost it was a rowdy night after an event.
We really had no idea what to expect when we booked to stay here, but we had an incredible visit. Staying at ROOST gives you the space of an AirBnB with the convenience of a hotel. We were in town with extended family and it was great to have a place to all gather that felt like we were in someone’s home, instead of cramming into a hotel room. I love this idea and will definitely be seeking out other ROOST locations when I travel!
We loved our stay at Roost! The rooms are large, clean, and recently renovated. We picked it because it was contemporary and stylish, but the parking was also convenient and secure (though expensive.) It is basically an apartment, which made for a very comfortable stay.
