a month agoWe had a wonderful time while visiting DC; and this was a great place to relax after a full day of walking and sightseeing. We tried several of the restaurants recommended by the hosts and enjoyed them all. The walk to the Metro was not bad at all and easy to navigate. It would have been a bit easier for us if we’d been able to house our luggage f due to having a late flight out but understand that this is a business. We were able to find a place per the Luggage Hero site shared and house our luggage at a much lower rate for the 4 -6 hours we needed while spending our last bit of time in DC prior to heading to the airport. We truly enjoyed the city and our home away from home!4 months agoGreat place in the heart of it all. Fabulous location with lots of restaurants/coffee/bars/grocery store within a short walk, easy access to public transportation and street parking (be very careful and read all of the street signs). Comfy place to hang out in with all the amenities of home. The bed was a little harder than my mattress at home but I slept well. Fluffy towels and a great shower with good water pressure. Loved the outside patio in back. Directions and communications with Michelle were fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.5 months agoWe truly enjoyed the home. Parking was easy once we got the hang of it. We felt very comfortable walking around the neighborhood. It was as advertised. I am shortish, so the low ceilings did not bother me one bit; however, my husband and daughter hit their heads frequently despite the warnings. So if you are 5’8″ or taller you really need to be careful. You can hear the people upstairs walking around some times, but it did not interfere with our visit or sleep in any way, shape, or form!

They have soap, shampoo, and all the necessities, plus a few snacks and drinks so you don’t need to run out the door if you arrive late. They are very responsive whenever an issues arises. I first used it in grad school in Cambridge and now I’m trying multiple areas after moving to DC, three months each to get a flavor of the city. It’s the way to live! All the amenities of newer apartment buildings without being locked in or having to deal with furniture. Blueground feels like the future of housing.2 months agoI’ve stayed with Blueground on three occasions. I’ve always been impressed with the quality of the apartments, responsive team members, easy check-in and check-out, and locations of the units. These flexible, furnished apartments are more expensive than renting a standard unit in similar areas, but only marginally so—and the ease, convenience, flexibility, and customer support are well worth the extra cost. Blueground has enabled me to comfortably live as a digital nomad, and it is without a doubt the best option for short- to mid-term rentals in the DC area.5 months agoBuilding and apartment comfortable, clean and with all amenities (Wi-Fi, laundry, heating, cooling, appliances, etc). Near the metro station (line blue) and supermarkets, groceries, parks. The Blueground Team is wonderful, they help me immediately when I needed. Recommended 100%

Stayed 6 nights in June 2023. Everything about AKA exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, spacious, and attractive. The shower water pressure was very good. The bed was comfortable.
BUT, what really set the hotel apart from places we have stayed recently was the staff. Each and every one of them was incredibly helpful and friendly. We received. “Have a nice day”, each time we left the front door and a “welcome back” each time we returned at the end of the day. Every question we had about the city was addressed. If the staff didn’t know it directly, they immediately logged on to their computer and found out. They even called to see what the wait time was at Founding Farmers for breakfast after we asked for a recommendation of where to eat!
Our flight time was changed so we ended up at the hotel around 9:30. a.m. on the day we were checking in! The hotel staff took our bags and directed us to lobby level restrooms to freshen up. They also let us know that we could hang out in the theater room as much as we wanted. They also took my cell phone number to call us as soon as our room was ready. We actually did get into the room a couple of hours early. When we called for clean towels a few days later, the woman who delivered them to our door refused to take a tip!! I could not recommend this place more highly. The location of the hotel was within walking distance of most major attractions and a block away from a main MetroHub. On our next trip to Washington, this will definitely be when we stay.
This is a spectacular hotel for DC. A block from the White house, everything is walkable including the monuments and museums. The rooms are huge (we’re in a 2 bedroom) for a price that’s lower than most others in the area. Finally, the staff is just wonderful and attentive. We couldn’t have asked for more.
Apartment style space that allowed us space after long days of touring. Front desk welcoming and responsive to any questions and needs. Not many restaurants in close vicinity. Checked out the terrace. Would have been a nice area to gather.
This hotel was amazing!! Close to everything! It was so spacious!! It was so nice for our family because we have 2 teenage boys! It was awesome that there were 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms!
