There are two level one is through the main entrance from the mall where electric and work as well as clothes are supplied, while below this floor through the stairs you will see the main groceries and food items arranged in the rows. Staff is helpful and good but the waiting time here to checkout is long especially on holidays and weekends, but they got sales on these days which is quite great. I’ve seen them go though fires, I’ve seen them deal with violent homeless, I’ve also seen the sheer organizational mess this store is in a consistent state of. Product all over the place as they’re always rearranging things, which makes it difficult to get used to the layout. Changing candy aisle, rice, flour, and more have moved to completely different areas with no updated signage. Again, I’ve been coming here for 2 years 1-2x a week…I’ve also seen how they blatantly discriminate against white people. It’s humiliating to be at self checkout with 5 or 6 other customers, but the security guard is standing right by me like my own personal security watching to ensure I scan everything… I ensure that I appear clean and well dressed when leaving my house yet I’m regularly treated like I came to Walmart to steal a can of coconut milk. I sincerely wish they would be better about how they treat customers, because harassing ppl on the way out to count their items in cart to match the receipt and breathing down their neck while cashing out is humiliating.By Vida Corvus (3 months ago)DO NOT USE THIS SITE AS A PICK UP LOCATION FOR ONLINE ORDERS!!! The service is HORRENDOUS!!!!!! First of all, they did not show up to the parking lot to drop off my order even if the app says it’s ready. Second, they did not answer the call on the number provided by the parking stall. Third, when I came inside to pick up the order, they were just about to pack it even when the app says it’s all ready for pick up and that it’s picked up.Fourth, they packed rotten produce! Fifth, they asked me to cancel it through the app when they can do it themselves after I told them to cancel all my orders as they packed all the garbage of produce in it. Lastly, it took me 1 hour and 30min to deal with this chaos of a service! Half the time I could’ve used to do the grocery myself!!! I paid extra for express and it turns out to be the worse experience ever!!! This service totally defeats the purpose of convenience, if staff are as slackers as they are! - Reviews:Staff at the photo centre are friendly and especially helpful. Although this store can be a bit messy I like coming here, sometimes there are good sales and clearance items. Not a bad shopping experience so far! I don’t recommend it, a few weeks ago I was there on a Saturday and Sunday. It’s a total mess, the store is completely disorganized and the shelves are constantly empty. The frozen sector is chaotic. I asked to speak to a manager and request her to have the employees who were standing around conversing (NOT WORKING) to put the un-atended, unclean, baskets at the front of the store and she refused in a disrespectful manour. This is not the walmart I grew up going to! I immediatly left and did not purchase a thing! Good for a walmart location, a bit odd seeing some shelves empty, but overall had everything we needed.
Undortunately, I went for some camping gear but a lot of them were out of stock and this locations selection of outdoor gear was considerably limited. Understandable as it is located in a mall.
Their selection of clothes are expansive but I think it’s a bit too much focus on the clothes. I think their foods selections can be better. Also, fyi, darn cheap desserts and pastry prices. Would recommend for cheap snacks!
I bought a box of 6 croissants yesterday, the date was still good as we were Oct 10th but when I open the box at home 3 out of the 6 had mold on them! It’s disgusting!!! How a groceries store can sell molded food!!
I’m French and in my entire life I never see mold on croissant! They get hard and not tasty but not moldy! What is in your pastries???

It always has everything I need: well-stocked seasonal dept, great kids clothes, reasonable price on steel toes in a pinch.
The door from lougheed mall is supposed to be opened at 10 am and here is a disaster by not opening the door on time
Just wanted to share our wonderful experience at Walmart Austin avenue store today. We could not find the product that we liked online and Mr. David from the electronics department came to our rescue. He was so nice and helped us find our product and also offered to bring it to our car. Thank you so much David you were so humble and your support was exceptional. Thank you Walmart for this amazing experience.
If you’re applying for Walmart Mastercard at the store, double check that the customer rep entered your details correctly.
They entered mine incorrectly and my credit card application got rejected because of that.
I forgot to ask them to review my application details, but they also didn’t offer that. I believe they should have asked the customer to review their details and confirm that everything is correct.
Hope the staff will get better training in the future!
