What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. This place is amazing in so many ways. Gluten free food, dirt cheap prices without sacrificing quality, lots of similar products to name brands (and also some actual name brands sold there). To give you an idea, I usually spend around $45 here, and when I get essentially the same things at HEB I tend to spend around $80.

Groceries, outdoor/kitchen stuff, household essentials, they have a lot. They may not have everything, and produce rotates according to the seasons (which may be a good thing – it helps me try new stuff), but the prices are so worth it.

The staff is also always friendly and timely.

  2. The young man stocking up The meat area was very helpful when they were out of a product. The cashier today was so rude! Dirty looks rolling her eyes any time self check out needed anything. WHY is this always the case? Aldi’s definitely needs to keep the cashier’s.

  3. Nice little store. You need a quarter to put in the shopping cart to unlock. Good variety of foods. Prices very reasonable and a lot of things are cheaper than other grocery stores. The apple and cheesecake pie is so good. Fruit and veg look fresh and so does the meat. My first time here but will be back for more. You will bag your groceries at your car unless using self checkout. There is 1 cashier but it is fast. Plenty of staff on hand to answer questions. Enjoyable trip

  4. I spend less here than at HEB OR WALMART. But the only caveat is they don’t always have everything you need so you still have to go elsewhere.

  5. It was the first time I had been there. They have different and better bakery options than Walmart and Heb. Especially koshered products.

Easy to get in & out quickly. The buyers for the store just make one very good choice for each item for you, so not lots of selection but they are products that you would select. Great prices and friendly staff.

Stopped by to get some of their fresh pizza dough as well as some other ingredients to make some pizzas. I always get more than I plan to buy, and I am always shocked the cost is so low.

Aldo’s is one of my favorite places to shop. Make sure that you bring a quarter to get your basket and bags for when you check out. Bags can be purchased if you forget them. They limit their selections to a brand or two. Very reasonable prices. I also love that the majority of their foods are due free and preservative free. My grandson is allergic to red dye. He couldn’t eat brand name cereals or candies. With Aldo’s he can because they use beet juice and other natural ingredients to dye their foods. Beware some items are seasonal and may not always be in stock.

Much larger store than the Buckingham/Garland Ave. store. Both stores are clean and friendly, there’s just a larger selection and more inventory at this store. Large selection of “specialty diet” selections at Aldi that you won’t find at a “regular” grocery sans Whole Foods, etc, but at a much more budget friendly price. Large selection of cheese, meat, beer, bread, etc.. We purchase our pre-sliced black angus and bottom round steak here that we use to make our own beef jerky. If you’re on a Keto or Low-carb Atkins diet, there is a good selection of breads, etc. to help you achieve your goals.

Aldi has excellent pricing and tons of organic produce! I’m always thrilled with my experience there. The checkers are always so fast and usually scan all my items before I can even get my card out. They save plastic by not using bags, and save labor by encouraging their customers to bring their carts back to the parking spots.

Aldis has really great prices on their generic brands. I particularly like to save on spreadable cream cheese (tastes just like the name brand) and any of the Clancy brand of snacks, which are also remarkably the same flavors as more expensive name brands. They usually have a large vegetable section, along with fresh bread, cold cuts and cheese. While the store isn’t fancy and many times there is only one lane open, it’s worth it considering the savings.

I love this store….just wish they had a better “pop” inventory (yes, I’m not sure native).

First time shopping here after seeing it on social media. It’s a smaller grocery store and stock is limited but they have quite a few things priced cheaper than the bigger chain stores. My wife and I saved $40 on items we use on a weekly basis, so that savings alone is worth going back.
